Survived the final few weeks in the lab despite the stress and chaos of finishing. From tomorrow it's thesis writing time! And my supervisor agreed to let me do it remotely so we're in the UK for the next couple of weeks, visiting Ben's family first and then some friends. I took the weekend off to try and recover some energy after 6 weeks of working weekends etc, and it's been amazing, I feel so much further removed from all the stress just being somewhere else, and getting that bit of time off was just what I needed. Also feels kind of full circle because I spent lockdown here right after starting my PhD, so I wrote my project proposal in this house and now I'm writing my thesis here too.

A full-color anthology of comics from Plus Dog Collective, a Minneapolis-based group of comic artists and illustrators!

Hey y’all! @plus-dog and I are launching an anthology this summer featuring 5 comics from 5 artists (I'm one of them, along with @lunadraws, @bentyecomics, @brandohughes, and @alex-d-araiza-art! I also created the cover illustration!)

Please help us get this full-color anthology printed by supporting us on Kickstarter or sharing!

Take a hot shower and get plenty of sleep! Self care comes first and you can handle the rest after you have that locked down. While you are having a lie down, think of three things you are grateful for and why. Just concentrate on those three things for at least 5 mins. It sounds cheesy but it will work. Then go look at pics and vids of dogs on IG.

I’m proud to announce that I’ll be debuting two new zines at Minneapolis’ Autoptic 2018 on Sunday, August 19! I will be at Plus Dog Collective’s table (Table 28!) where you can find my work (old & new) as well as work from other members of @plus-dog! We’re debuting our latest anthology (NATURE) at Autoptic. I’m super proud of this anthology as I had a lot of involvement in it and I can’t wait to see the printed books later this week!

After Autoptic, I plan to update my online store with these zines and more! (Shoutout to @brandohughes for printing these out!)
