Listen I know most people won’t see this but I need to get on my soapbox. I love Ghost so much and I want merch so much. But a 3xl from them is not comfortable for me and since it’s my special interest it’s really making me feel bad about my body and weight. Because I can’t wear my favorite band on me unless it’s a necklace or bracelet. Like I know most people don’t really care but if you see this ghost mutual or ghost enjoyer I just want you to know that bigger bodies exist and enjoy so many things. We deserve to be able to wear shit that we like. Please be more size inclusive brands, I’m begging. I just want to wear the stuff. I want to wear that new papa hoodie but I can’t

My friend's bachelorette party has a disco revival theme and you would not believe how hard it is to find a plus size friendly outfit that isn't just straight up garbage? I'd rewear wear a bell sleeve shirt if I could find one, but they are all either crop tops or not built for my H cup boobs. I complained to my friend and she's just like, it's just dresses and bell bottoms jeans. For you maybe, for me it's an hour and a half online and crying.

it as an odd feeling realizing someone most likely finds you ugly and unattractive 

seeing the people they’ve been interested in before and then looking at yourself and just thinking… wow what was i thinking 

complete opposite to me and i see the appeal too! like oh what a great choice for you

being obsessed yet able to snap back into reality is a blessing and a curse at the same time: delusions about them potentially liking you back mixed in with knowing they never will. 

when people complain in any way about knowing people have a crush on them, i cannot help from feeling resentment. 

how does it feel to know someone has taken interest in you? so much so that you can tell they do? 

it feels as though, and has been proven, that bigger women are not desired outwardly and are kept in the dark. 

do i think i will ever be desired, even in the dark? absolutely not! it is completely unrealistic, as sad as it is. 

there just really are no good qualities to my person 

whether it be physically, mentally, personality 

i am just a mixture of disgusting things that will never be desired 

and that is what i have feared all along- it now standing with me, face to face.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when I'm online searching for plus size outfits and bodycon dresses all the models have these perfect hourglass shapes or are size 12 or something. WHERE ARE THE GIRLS WITH STOMACHS AND ROLLS???? I'm talking chicks who are size 22/24 and above. WHERE TF ARE THEY???

Plus size girls are not less than other women

I have had the thought my whole life that since I have always been heavier than other girls and most men that I am somehow not a whole person or undeserving of love. And why shouldn't I? The media confirmed it throughout my childhood and only recently has this begun to change. I was going through my journal today and found an entry from when I was 17 about what I wanted in a guy. It listed a bunch of characteristics that basically added up to Sam Winchester combined with Fox Mulder but the next entry was titled "how do I need to change to attract this person?" Now this in itself isn't bad. Most of the criteria were good like, be more compassionate, don't emasculate every man before they have a chance to be nice to you, pray more, accept accountability, try being more outspoken, etc. However, right at the top of the list was "LOOSE WEIGHT" Looking back on it after three years and acting school later I hurt for myself. I used to define my worth by my weight. Just because I'm over 250 with curves and large breasts doesn't mean I'm unloveable. It doesn't make me less of a woman or more of a woman for that matter. We all deserve love but not all of us get told this. We get told from the time we can play with barbies that skinny hourglass figures with thighs that don't touch are desirable and the winners of most love stories. We see women we relate to being used as comedy relief or made fun of simply because they are LIKE US. Rebel Wilson may be a bad ass and wonderful confident woman but her breakout character's name was FAT AMY. I laughed at the movie, but afterwards I had this horrible feeling when I realized that she was only there for comedy relief. My teachers at film acting school don't know what to cast me as because I have the ability to play all these potent characters but none are written for plus size women. WE ARE NOT LESS WE ARE NOT DISEASED WE DESERVE SOME COMPELLING, WELL ROUNDED, SEXY AS HELL CHARACTERS WRITTEN FOR US WE ARE DESERVING OF LOVE AND WE SURE AS HELL NEED SOMEONE TO START TELLING YOUNG GIRLS THIS TOO

I'm so irritated right now with plus size clothes and just retail stores in general. All I need is a satin-like 3/4 sleeve blouse for my skirts from Modcloth but I can't find anything anywhere! I have found a few but they are $50 at the least. Gahhhh why can't I find something?!

You know what pisses me off to another dimension? Shopping for plus size dresses on plus size dress websites. Not only does this upset me because I've lost a lot of weight and I'm STILL not in juniors sizing (sizes 2-13), but literally every website for plus size dresses have the shittiest dresses. Also there's at only 5 options on each website. Then they redirect me to women's dresses that are those ugly ass dresses moms wear at weddings. Fuck that shit like seriously. All I want is a fucking black dress that looks good for formal.
