You can influence people quite easily and make them listen or follow you. You feel a desire to be in control or have an upper hand. There are two contrasting needs intertwining in you - to be a reliable helper for others and potentially save those who cannot save themselves or desperately need your help and the need to seek your own independent path and live for yourself. Life probably placed huge amounts of responsibility onto you. People seek you out asking for your assistance in various things. You could have many family responsibilities or friends who need you so much so that little time is left for you and your own desires. Or on the contrary, you decided to live only for yourself which means you were able to fulfill some of your desires but were still left feeling empty/alone, longing for real, authentic connection. Ultimately you want strong, genuine, heart-felt connections. Deep down you fear you’ll one day remain alone.

Pluto on you Ascendant also means you’ve been closely acquainted with the darker realities of life. Perhaps you’ve never been a true innocent and always had sort of a pragmatic/more pessimistic outlook to life. Or maybe life had a way of robbing you of your rose-coloured glasses early on. You’ve been trough pain, loss, betrayal, crisis. You’ve built a wall to protect yourself and are very careful in letting others in to your inner world. My advice: avoid turning manipulative or passive-agresive with people if you are pissed. An 11th or 5th house Pluto may understand however an 8th house Pluto may just decide to blacklist you or cross you out of their emotional space forever. Because they can see through it and might interpret it as an affront to the closeness you once shared. Being honest and forward about your problems is best. Even if your words are rough around the edges. The right people will understand you.

Lilith in Gemini - wounds when it comes to communication, the way you present yourself in public. You might feel inhibited when it comes to expressing yourself or feel awkward or even shame for the way you speak or the ideas you hold. Especially if other placements/aspects support this, perhaps a Saturn in 3rd house or a Saturn retrograde.

You have a restless and inquisitive mind, are quite rebellious and can, more often than not, push people’s buttons. If your Gemini in Lilith’s energy is harnessed well you can be quite witty, charming and intriguing to others. Also intellectually curious and progressive.

My advice: learn to polish you communication skills. Balance your authentic, emotional side with your witty/charming outside persona. Avoid resorting to lies and actually choose to open up to people instead of finding ways to slip away.

Personal observation - the sign of Lilith can also tell you what kind of people we are jealous of. What would such a person embody. With Gemini it would mean you are jealous of talkative, outgoing people who make connections easily. With Lilith in Cancer - you are jealous of nurturing, intuitive, emotional people. This could point to the need to hone those same qualities in yourself.

IC (4th house in Cancer) - IC speaks about your early childhood; about the deepest, most private parts of our heart. Things we don’t truly want to admit to ourselves. With the 4th house in Cancer we feel the need to create our own home. Perhaps in childhood we’ve been deprived of it in some way. However these people are far from being pushovers and they work tirelessly to achieve their goals. Just tell them your boyfriend doesn’t want you to join college and you’ll get an hour in-depth conversation about how you must be losing your mind (to put it plainly) to even tolerate such a man in your life. What do you mean you’ll forfeit your own desires for a snotty little man like him? Or for anybody else at all? Their anger is quick and destructive but doesn’t last long. They could or could not be grudgy, depending on other placements . Typically they aren’t.

My advice: just keep being the cool person you are. I honestly admire you.

Venus in Pisces - ah, the innocent idealists in love. Many of my friends have this placement and let me tell you, finding the right person to date turned out to be quite the ordeal. They either attract toxic people who try to control them and end up heart-broken or refuse to date mostly due to shyness or having unrealistic standards. They are kind, giving and sensitive people who want to find true love. If not the kind you see in movies, then close to it.

These people are into fantasies and romance, even if they refuse to admit it to you. Meaning that if they don’t watch romantic movies, they might spend hours making up fantasies about they way they kiss, hug their crush or marry them. Perhaps both.

Creative abilities are also likely. They could be into music or arts.

If you have this placement it’s very important to remember: never allow yourself to be disrespected or taken advantage of. Stand by your principles and boundaries, always. If somebody repeatedly disrespects you, it’s time to let them go. You know it. Don’t accept becoming anybody’s doormat. You deserve the same love, beauty, kindness and acceptance you give to other people.

Venus in Cancer - these people are attractive in many ways. There’s an emotional, warm but also fierce quality to them. They love their family deeply and can be quite the family man/woman ensuring to provide anything and everything their loved ones would need. In youth, however they could be a little frivolous. That’s not to say they’d just date anyone, of course. But they do have a couple of options available to choose from. Getting truly close to them and winning their heart could prove challenging. But once they have chosen you, expect a whole other level of love to unlock and immerse you. They are truly very warm and giving and have a way of spoiling those they love. They value emotional closeness, safety and authenticity.

Advice - find a way to channel your sensitive energy. Write about it in your journal or immerse yourself in a hobby. Being in nature, taking care of animals or meditation could also prove fulfilling.

Mercury in Virgo - the little analysts. These people will notice absolutely everything and quietly judge you in their mind. If you want somebody to do your accounting, call this people. Even if they work in a completely different field, they might do a flawless job. They are all about creating wonderfully detailed excel sheets with zero mistakes in the calculation of budget expanses. They can do very well in exact sciences, like physics, maths or in technology related fields, especially with some Gemini in the mix. They have strong memory and are type to remember the small print. I wouldn’t recommend crossing them as they can have a rather sharp tongue coupled with intelligent and cutting remarks that don’t miss their target. However it usually takes a long time to get there and they have to be very upset.

Indicators of Daddy Issues in a Natal Chart

these are only a few notable placements but there are many more I haven't listed yet.

I must preface that these are just observations and that you might have these placements, and have a lovely relationship with your father. These are just repetitive placements I see in the charts of those who have daddy issues. Astrology isn’t a one size fits all kind of situation. Enjoy!

Sun Square / Opposite Saturn

There’s emotional distance, or coldness between you and your father. You could have been afraid to disappoint him, so you became hypervigilent or hyperindependent. This could manifest in different ways: your father could’ve been there physically, but emotionally checked out / unavailble, cold, or stoic.

You could’ve felt like you had to be performative around your father because he only praised you or showed you attention when you did something “worth praising”, which could have created a self-worth wound.

Your dad could’ve been overbearing or just totally ignore your boundaries. This could’ve led to you always feeling on guard, watched, invaded, or judged even when you’re alone.

Roles could've totally been flipped, and he acted more like the child, rather than the parent in your upbringing.

This is the placement that attracts partners who are a lot like their fathers, or are older, colder, more rigid, etc.

Sun Square Pluto / Sun Opposite Pluto

You could deal with a lot of power struggles involving your father. He was not just a lot to deal with, meaning his energy or presence could’ve been all consuming and larger than life — he was also just really difficult to please.

Your father could be the reason you struggle with respecting and/or fearing male authority. Sadly, I see this placement in a lot of charts of people whose fathers are real POS’. I mean there’s no other way to put it: these dads suck and do not respect their kids.

Your dad could be a very dominant person, and therefore loud, or just very controlling. In your upbringing he could’ve been controlling over your identity, your beliefs, emotions, heck even your sexuality. Being independent, opinionated, or outspoken led to consequences.

With this placement, you could’ve grown up just knowing your did didn’t like you, you weren't safe with him, or you couldn't trust him and as a result, you have a hard time trusting men in general.

Here’s where things get weird: you attract men and/or partners who mirror your father’s patterns of addiction, negative attitudes, volatility, or similar aggressive behaviors.

Sun Square/Opposite Neptune

Your dad was absent, and if he wasn’t absent he was either living a double life, very deceptive, or emotionally detached from you.

His feelings for you could’ve been confusing for you to understand, so it’s possible you idealized his real intentions for you to feel better, to feel like you have a loving dad (omg I am so sorry :( )

This leads me to my next point, you could’ve daydreamed about having a dad that meets your emotional, or physical needs, and loves you the way you love him.

He sold you on broken promises and illusions. He was the kind of father who showed up once in a blue moon. For some, him just showing up for you was your present for your birthday, or Christmas.

Your father could’ve been an addict, or had drug abuse issues. He could’ve hid this from you for a long time, or he could've been in denial about how bad these problems were.

There could’ve been blurry lines when it came to boundaries with him, and emotional emeshment could’ve happened.

You could’ve honestly felt like you didn’t really know your father because of the different ways he lied to you. His secrets, his lies, his actions, his past — all of these things have negatively impacted you in some way, specifically how you trust others.

10Th House Ruler conjunct/square/opposite Saturn/Pluto

The things your father does has a direct impact on you somehow. His public roles, his reputation, and the things he has done in his past haunt you even if you had nothing to do with his choices.

You’ve could’ve been seen as your father’s kid and referred to as “(father’s name)’s kid” rather than your own name. You were kind of seen as an extension of him, and not your own person.

Your father is known for a good scandal, or shiesty move. Papa could've been a rolling stone, or a crook, and it is what it is. But the trouble is that it feels like YOU are paying for HIS mistakes in life. OR, he could treat you like all his poor decisions were your fault somehow.

He bestowed this serious feeling of doubt in you, and you carry a lot of burdens pertaining to success. You chase success more than the average person, and its because you compare yourself , your work ethic, and your actions to your father’s a lot.

Sun in 8th House

TW: trauma, physical/sexual ab*, CSA

I will quickly gloss over my TW points, but yeah. Trauma with this placement *can* manifest in childhood abuse or csa from your father, stepfather, or significant male figures in your life (If you missed my original disclaimer this is NOT true for all 8th house sun placements).

Your father’s presence was powerful, scary and dominating. It was probably scary to speak up to him because his emotional reactions were like disproportionate to the situation.

Your father project all of his failures and short comings onto you, leaving you with such a heavy burden.

You mistake aggression for love and emotional security.

Saturn Retrograde

When your Saturn is in retrograde natally, this shows an inconsistency in his parenting or him being there for you. You could feel like you never got the proper guidance from your father, or like he was always available for other people when they needed him but was never there for you.

This is also oddly specific but with this placement, your father could have either wanted to have only boys and you were born a girl so that cause friction, or they only wanted girls and you were born male. Same goes for different gender identities, it can feel like this father is not happy with who you are down to your gender.

Mars square / opposite Saturn

This is especially hard for masculine presenting people, but it could be hard for anyone because your father shakes up your concept of what a man is / supposed to be through his actions.

For masculine people, this manifests in blocked masculine energy or becoming unsure of how to express yourself. But usually this placement means you likely grew up around men and grew up in fear of men, so you had a hard time speaking around them, or just being around them in general.

Your father could have been over critical of everything you do, for instance you could be someone who is very flamboyant in nature and he can criticize you for being so animated. Or you can be passionate and expressive, and he can criticize you for being aggressive. He villainized your character to a point where you might not know who you really are because you invested so much of your energy believing in the things that your father may have projected on to you.

This placement to make you an overthinker to the point where you miss out on things because you don't want to ruin anything or you don't want to make mistakes. This is rooted in childhood trauma that should be addressed because you are blocking a lot of fun in your life out of fear that will not just go away.

You could have a hard time expressing your anger or being afraid of your anger because of how you were shamed for having emotions.

✰  People who have their 5H ruler in the 2H, you can actually make money off them, especially when you refine your skills. 

✰  If cancer is the crybaby then Leo is the bratty, whiny mischievous kid. 

✰  12H placements and the never ending saga of them create a new account, delete it or deactivate it and start over because they energetically feel as if something is wrong with that account. 

✰ While 11h and its sign shows the kind of friend groups you have, the ruler of it can also show how you bond and mainly the kind of topics that gets discussed between you and other people. Ex: An 11H Gemini with Mercury in 12H in the sign of Cancer shows that you mostly find friends in the most random places possible and it could explain their diverse friend groups. Its ruler in the Cancer can show that they usually talk about emotions and ask for advices and the natives would respond in a motherly manner, and in the 12H can show that the common interest could be about spirituality or about other countries and internal issues as 12h rules over foreign land as well as the unknown and mental illnesses.

✰ The difference between the mercurial signs can be determined by looking at their hands. Virgos have a slimmer hands and longer fingers while Geminis have a chubbier hands and shorter fingers. A combination of both would make the hands a bit slimmer than typically Geminis’ hands but have noticeably a bit of the shorter fingers. 

✰ After I met enough Capricorn and Scorpio in big 3, I really come to conclusion that they have issues with their fathers not being presented, emotionally or physically.

pluto observations

(pain → power) 𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ𐀔

𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ𐀔 I've been thinking about my pluto square mercury aspect and how in a previous post I stated that I felt like with that square I used this aspect in a way where it would make people uncomfortable (like talking about sex in the middle of a dinner or cursing at my professional office job LMAOOO).

𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ𐀔 Squares will always cause friction and its about redirecting the energy (my pluto is square sun as well and also my ascendant). But in general, I realized that the power pluto holds is in timed SILENCE and that's where there's a difference between making someone uncomfortable versus them being intimidated in a way that is producing respect.

𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ𐀔 think about how we all stand up in SILENCE when a judge walks in or how the CEO sits at the head of the table in meeting. Pluto aspects are all about commanding attention through action (and mere presence) rather than words FIRST. And then when it is time to speak, it makes that even more significant if its well-timed and carefully thought out.

LMAOOO but its not a facade! Its just this constant cycle of of transformation. That's why you have to SHOW people how you are to be treated. DON'T expect to just get it. How different do you think people would react if a judge walked in cracking jokes or with poor posture or with a timid voice? NO. they have to be in control (pluto) of their presentation (sun).

Work with your own energy. I am a very loud, energetic and talkative person. As kids/teens when we would go out together I use to be the one to stand in front of her and tell grown ass men to fuck off. She would have guy friends that would always crack jokes that she would let slide and then one day he tried something when they were alone and she was shocked, betrayed and angry. He felt comfortable enough to do that and she was still very young and unable to be in her full power. But her now? A friend kissed her without her consent once when they were at the club and she slapped the fuck outta him and cut him off. She is QUICK to check any disrespect and it makes people second guess. Her energy shows she is prone to extreme reactions (pluto) on matter related to her body and sexuality (8h) mixing with the desire and lust of others (men), especially men.

𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ𐀔 Another example, my friend has Venus in the 10th house trine Pluto in the 2nd house and she naturally attracts a lot of attention (10h) for her beauty and charisma (venus). But in the past she has gotten in relationships with partners who are jealous of that attention she is getting, who desire to control her (pluto) bc of her beauty but also shame her for it and it really affected her self worth and her perspective on her own values (2h). Unlike squares or conjunctions, it felt easier or more natural to redirect that energy once she transformed all the venusian themes of her life. Did she get hurt?
