you guys don’t even know how excited i am about port montrose’s new contest !!!
Hello interested roleplayers! I thought I’d give you all an opportunity to learn a few of Port Montrose’s secrets that even our members don’t know. We’re going to have a little contest, and if you win you’ll be able to access a secret page with information about some upcoming characters. (We’re currently capped on characters, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have some planning going on.)
Think of it like finding secret records -- because that’s exactly what they’ll be. Without giving too much away, someone is keeping records on certain witches and wizards for their talents. There are five pages of records, and so this contest will have five winners.
How do you enter? First you need to reblog this post. Secondly, we’d like you to create something (a graphic, drabble, playlist, etc.) inspired by one of our missing or deceased characters. You can find those characters here.
Post your creation in the new talk tag, #pm:talk, to submit your entry. You are able to make multiple posts and each one will count as an entry. The contest will close on Friday, July 8th. On that date I will enter everyone into a raffle and select five winners and send them each a link to one of the hidden records.

Character you’re most excited to see?: Rodolphus Lestrange. Even though I am shit at playing him. He was my first ever roleplay character, like EVEEER. And I was shit at playing him. Also, Remus Lupin and Mina Lima.
What are you most excited to see once the main opens?: EVERYTHIIIING. You don't even understand. I've been following Janelle for like over a year, and I've snooped her since she began pondering about this roleplay. I've probably creeped out Janelle, but I WAS THERE.
Tell us a little about you as a roleplayer!: I've been roleplaying for.. five-ish years. My first roleplay was a Marauders RP, and I played Rodolphus Lestrange. I really like Harry Potter, and though I haven't been in a Harry Potter RP in a solid 4 years, I feel like I can't pass this up?
What are you hoping to see in Port Montrose?: I really hope that the community receives the roleplay well, because I know how long that Janelle's been working on it. I swear I'm a creeper. I'm sorry. And I really just want to see a beautiful roleplay. *sobbing emoji here*
