Calling all podficcers!

ETL Echo's next collection is here and you can be a part of it! For the month of October, we're celebrating disability pride and inviting podfics of all shapes and sizes: any pairing, any fandom, any rating, any length.

We only ask that you not choose a fix-it fic. If a character has a disability that can't be cured in real life, it shouldn't be magically taken away; disability doesn't have to disappear to make a happy ending.

Add your podfic to our collection HERE and we'll start reveals on October 15th, featuring them on our socials for the rest of the month. We're looking forward to hearing what you come up with!

A podfic of the ongoing AU story of Buck and Eddie and their family Dragons included. Set within the universe of the Anne McCaffery’s Dragonriders of Pern universe. Part Two of To Fly the Skies. The story carries on from where we left Eddie and Buck with a look at the impact their past has on their future, cannon consistent drama and disasters on the way.

The power cuts I've been dealing with for the past week (totaling 3 days without power!!) have made me super late posting this, because I couldnt finish the editing - but whats 2 days between friends!!

I had a great time recording this and getting to give voice to Cal once again so I hope you all enjoy listening to nearly 11 hours of me reading this wonderful fic!

The third annual Flufftoberfest is here, and this time it's multifandom!

Inviting all podficcers - please join us in celebrating Multifandom Flufftoberfest 2022!

What is Flufftoberfest? A podfic fest with the goal of creating as many fluffy podfics as possible in the month of October. That way, at the end of the month, we'll all have a healthy supply of fluff to roll around in during the months to come!

Rules: Create podfics of stories (<5K words, M rated or under) in any fandom that you personally find fluffy! Post as many of 'em as you'd like to the Flufftoberfest collection, anytime from October 1-31.

Tadaaaa! I executive produced (lol cue the DUN DUN Dick Wolf sound effect) a pair of multivoice podfics for the Out of the Auditary podfic fest, and here is the second one: branch 2 of the evaporated milk discourse shitpost, which features an academic paper and discussion of the elemental properties of milk. Come check it out, it was waaaaaay too fun organizing this.

Here’s how it works: Person A (your friendly neighbourhood mod) makes a podfic. It becomes the prompt for Person B. Person B’s podfic becomes a prompt for Person C’s podfic. And down the line we go until everyone’s had a turn. Using a podfic as a prompt means that each podiccer will pick at least one key element from their prompt podfic and use it in their work. A key element could be, but isn’t limited to: fandom, character, ship, trope, format (dialogue-only, epistolary, etc) or podficcing style (SFX, music, accents, etc).
