Poet’s Day (August 21, 2019)
Happy Poet’s Day everyone! Do you have a favorite poet or poem? If you do, please share. For this holiday I have a couple poetry collections I love and some added on to the list that I couldn’t fit in the picture.

Poet's Day 2018 - Super(nova)
Happy Poet's Day 2018! To celebrate the occasion, I'm sharing one of my original verses -- titled: Super(nova).
Happy Poet’s Day!
I had no idea that such an observance existed, but when it comes to art, literature, and the humanities, I’m always willing to celebrate. It’s coincidence that Poet’s Day has arrived this month, as I had just been assembling some of my own — I picked up a copy of “Our Numbered Days” by Neil Hilborn and I’ve been very inspired.

#DYK: August 21st is Poets Day?
From the JMM collection: Max Rubin’s poet laureate wreath. Rubin was recognized as Poet Laureate of Baltimore in 1947 by then-mayor Theodore R. McKeldin. JMM 1992.225.1
We also have an autographed copy of “Baltimore, I am Grateful,” (above) written by Rubin to commemorate his designation as poet laureate and a 1st edition copy of Rubin’s “It’s a Beautiful World,” 1962 (below). JMM 1991.167.9a and 1991.167.2

I just ran 17 laps around the school track and did a bunch of math, I now have a cough but I'm feeling great and I could dance or something. So the boss bean is feeling good and its a good Friday
