Tumblr's ruining my otaku life!! I actually took a break from Tumblr for a while before I decided that I needed to yap about anime. However, since I got started on this blog, I find myself scrolling. I don't want to be scrolling. I want to be watching anime!! Ironically, I feel like I'm completing less series now. Anyways, as for what I have completed...
I finished two of Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly's endings. One was the "true ending" and I don't remember now what the other one was called 😅Anyways, I'm onto Hikage's route now! As for Ephemeral - Fantasy on Dark -, I completed Shiba's good ending romance route and am now continuing on his lover route. And of course I'm still going down Mozu's route in Bustafellows Season2. Unfortunately, I'm behind on Resting Peach Face's Over RequiemZ let's play/live translation.
The couple anime that I've recently finished were Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I'm Not the Demon Lord and Code: Realize. I'm still watching and really enjoying Fushigi Yuugi. Meanwhile, I rewatched the first episode of Requiem of the Rose King and that helped me better understand the plot A LOT. Maybe it'd help more if I read Shakespeare's Henry IV, but I don't think I'm that committed...
When it comes to manga, I'm still reading Rin-ne and Tomie. I need to start Hellsing, Noragami, and Skip Beat! soon if I want to complete my monthly goal.
Anyways, there's a used books store called Wonder Books by my sister's house that I often frequent whenever I go to visit. Sometimes I forget that there are other locations. This week, I got to explore a new Wonder Books location! The place is stacked. It could take days to really explore it all. Typically, their manga selection isn't the largest, but you never know what you'll find. There were so many interesting manga there! I was surprised especially to see a stack of old-school Japanese BL Flower Comics manga. At the end of the day, I picked up Fushigi Yuugi volume 9, Ceres volume 9, and the Viz Graphic Novel publishing of Ceres volume 2 (also an Abba CD).
In other news, I'm considering going to Pokefest and/or Nekocon at the end of this month!
Now for a topic I'm really salty about... Books-A-Million's website is TRASH. The captcha system never works on my laptop, no matter what browser I use, how often I update it, etc. etc. So I always end up ordering on my phone. It's no big deal, I guess, but kinda annoying. What IS a big deal though is that it won't let me update my payment method! My card recently expired and I got a new one. Then, I received an email from BAM saying that I need to update my card in the system in order to renew my membership and make the payment for my preorder. So I used the link provided and tried to update the card, but every time I update the information, it logs me out!! And I even tried it on my phone. I'm so disappointed that my Otaku Vampire’s Love Bite volume 5 order was canceled because of these stupid issues! I guess I should've just contacted customer support... Actually, scratch that. I WILL contact customer support!
