Pokemon Ship Gushing Central

Okay, I figured that I should do a bit of a redux of this post, given a few tweaks we’ve made to the rules, and to include the link for the permanent invite right out the gate. XD

So hey, in case you missed it the first go around, @gengarfamily and I have made a discord server, where people from all walks of the Pokemon fandom can come together to discuss our favorite ships! (So, anime, games, and manga are all welcome!) This is intended to be a safe, inclusive space, so please make sure to acquaint yourself with this overview of the rules before joining!

Welcome to the Pokemon Ship Gushing Channel! We hope you enjoy rambling and ranting about all your favourite interactions, headcanons and memories associated with the varied and wild ships that we know and love in the world of Pokemon. In order to keep this a safe, happy and inclusive space for everyone, we have a few rules to make sure everyone stays comfy.

1.    This is a space inclusive to all. All sexualities, genders, races, abilities, and persons are welcome here and have a right to be respected. 

2.    All ships are to be treated with respect – including those including polyamorous relationships, homosexual relationships, transgender headcanons or otherwise. 

3.    Certain ships that implicate the following are not permitted here: a relationship between a minor and an adult; a relationship between humansXcreatures/Pokemon; a relationship depicting incest. 

4.    Shipping of minors is accepted, but must be done in an age appropriate manner, or done with in the context of an aged up timeline. 

5.    This is a SFW channel. This is for two reasons. A) There are plenty of mediums for sexualising Pokemon Characters already, and if that floats your boat, make a tumblr account and you will not be alone. B) This server is inclusive and welcoming to ace/aromantic/asexual shipping, and in this regard, sexualised content can be excluding. 

6.    We all join together in the spirit of multishipping. So long as it is not otherwise excluded, there is no reason we can’t all ship characters with as many others as we like, in different contexts or different headcanons. Please do not react harshly or unfairly towards someone who has different ideas to you. (No Ship Wars!) 

7.    This is a place where people should feel safe and happy to share their thoughts and feelings. We encourage gushing as something good for the soul! With this in mind, please be kind and supportive of the views of others, and support each other with the kindness we see demonstrated to us in the world of Pokemon every day.

These rules are here to protect us all – they might be added to or reinforced as time goes on and we see how things go. Generally, we are a very casual, laid back server focused primarily on fandom, shipping and silliness - nothing intense or bot-y - and all here to make friends. Above all else though, let’s have fun!
