I got sick a couple of weeks ago, and for the last week I've been drawing Pokémon and watching Murder, She Wrote as my go-to convalescence activity. All these were done on my new phone in the Nores app with the neat little stylus that came with it

Day two; mount lanakila
Due to my constant complaining of this alolan heat, we were brought on a trip to a mountain whose top is dusted on lots of lots of snow. Well dusted isn't the right word.. there's more than a few feet of snow covering the area. They call this mount lanakila, it's found on a separate island called ula'ula. Surprisingly enough there's plenty of trainers about all eager to battle, determine to become the very best there ever was. I guess Alola does have an elite four with how determine these trainers are.
Due to this I went off the trail to seek a more quiet spot where I can find some Pokemon to sketch and study. Luckily the snow makes this easy as everyone and everything leaves tracks.. well except ghost Pokemon and ghost period... Those chills are from the cold right?
The first set of tracks I come across are a Vulpix... Strange as Vulpix prefer heat.. didn't take long for me to be corrected as I saw the Vulpix but it was an alolan variants in the distance and its fur was white! Its eyes beautiful icy blue and it was stalking around, probably hunting around due to the scarcity of food. Vulpix and ninetales were always beautiful animals but certainly this alolan variant is even more beautiful!

Notes #3
Cubone and Kangaskhan connection: To be expanded on at a later date
It’s possible that a held item evolution of a baby Kangaskhan resulted in a new species of Pokemon. Like some baby Pokemon are produced entirely through held incenses when their egg is laid, it is then possible that a Marowak completely bypasses the baby Kangaskhan phase and births Cubone.

Pokedex Studies: Charmeleon
According to the Pokedex, Charmeleon are violent. Quite a departure from the more mild mannered Charmander. While Charmander is prone to small bursts of Rage when threatened, Charmeleon will lash out at prey or an opponent and only total destruction will satisfy them.
Conclusion: Avoid Charmeleon in the field and study Charizard. They aren’t as terrifying.
Notes #1
There are several special circumstances in which a Pokemon can evolve not found in the wild. However, there’s also a surprisingly high number of these Pokemon that can be found in the wild.
Through my studies, I’ve found stone and friendship evolved Pokemon in the wild are largely found in Unova and Kalos, while underleveled Pokemon are primarily found in Kanto and Johto.
While catch rates for these wild Pokemon are low, some are found in areas with no naturally occurring stones to prompt evolution. A more thorough report will be made at a later time.

Note to Self
The real danger of Transport by Suft isn't the Carvahanna, the Sharpedos, the Wailords, Tentacool/cruels.
It's the Magikarp jumping out of the water and hitting you in the face.
