Rain started to pour down on me as I was brought to a middle in my quest. It started as light sprinkling, nothing to really dampen the spirits as I cross into the heart of downtown. I have no concern for my own dryness. There is but one goal. Collect potions from the plethora of pokestops. Everything else comes second.

Passing a coffee shop where I used to work I suddenly became more exposed to the rainfall. I take my unbuttoned shirt and drape it like a cloak around my phone, I must have those potions. A bus passes by and I am sprayed from the puddle it drove over. Desperately I search for a of clothing to wipe the droplets off the screen of my phone. You could say I was coming up dry... except not really.

The quest is over... for now, I cannot acquire potions if the touch screen does not work. I walk back to my car in the pouring rain. I wipe a leaf from my soaked glasses, which no longer do their job.

My fire burns bright. Heavy rains do not dampen my resolve to take down gyms. I will be back. That I can promise. And this time... there will be umbrellas.
