So Withered Wastelands is Fuschia City that dried up and shriveled up into a barren, dry land with no water
Bleak Beach is Vermilion City that became darkened by a loss of sunlight and constant overcast weather
Rocky Ridges is Pewter City that got buried by a volcanic eruption
Sparkling Skylands is Saffron City and Celadon City that got pulled up into the sky in pieces
And now the first DLC area, Bubbly Basin, is Cerulean City that got completely submerged underwater
