Class 373 "e300" Manufacturer: Alstom (1992-1996) Model: TGV Built for Eurostar services through the channel tunnel. Shorter units for the planned services north of London were also briefly used on the East Coast Mainline. Have also been used on other services in France.

Class 221 "Super Voyager" Manufacturer: Bombardier (2001-2002) Model: Voyager Tilting diesel units built for non electrified high speed routes using the West Coast Mainline. No longer operates on the West Coast route and have had tilting functionality disabled. Current used on Grand Central routes from King's Cross and CrossCountry services.

Class 56 Manufacturer: Electroputere (1976-197?), BREL (1976-1984) Model: LDE3500 Heavy freight locomotive built in the late 1970's. Electroputere was sub-contracted due to a lack of workshop space, with their units having to later be extensively rebuilt due to poor performance.

Class 180 "Adelante" Manufacturer: Alstom (2000-2001) Model: Coradia 1000 High Speed DMUs built to increase capacity on the Great Western Mainline. Proved incredibly unreliable, they were moved all around the country, operating regional services in the North and West of England and Intercity services on the Midland and East Coast Mainlines.
