Normal JNPR Berry Morning

Jaune wakes up after Pyrrha but before Ren and Nora. He gets up and brushes his teeth, brush his hair, take a shower if it's his turn to take one in the morning, and goes through his morning routine. He walks back into the room and helps Pyrrha - who is back from her morning run- wake up their other halves. He grabs Ren by the arm and physicals pulls him into a sitting position, helps the other boy out of his shirt and into a clean one. Ren hums at him in thanks, eyes still closed and head nodding. Jaune wonders how these two ever woke before noon before coming to Beacon. He gives Ren a kiss on the forehead, and then another one on his nose just cuz. Ren lets himself fall forwards leaning his body against the blonds. It's warm, he doesn't want to move. They stay like that for a moment until Nora finally wakes up enough and starts jumping on the bed. Ren groans in despair over his life. Jaune catches Nora when she flys through the air at him. He gives he a tickle and a few face kisses. She laughs and then uses to much strength and Jaune ends up on the floor when she pushes him. Pyrrha stands above him and tries to look sympathetic but she's giggling to much. Jaune whines at her and she offers him a hand. She then pulls him up and into a kiss. Jaune forgives her. Once everyone's wake and dressed they start to head to class. Ren stops Jaune in their doorway. He undoes several of Jaunes shirt buttons and Jaune starts to say something about time and place and Ren kisses him into silence. He then buttons the shirt /correctly/ and they all walk to class.

Ok concept: Jaune figures out his feeling for his team mates first and pretty early on and /doesn't freak out/. Why? Because one of his sisters is in a happy poly relationship and has been for as long as he could remember and he's grown up with the idea and sure he might be super worried about how the other would take it, so he doesn't push and just waits it out. This is the only chill thing he's ever done.

The One Where Weiss (And Everyone Else) Finds Out

Weiss is the first one outside of JNPR to find out about their relationship. It happens in a pretty horrible/funny way. It’s been a couple months since Pyrrha and Jaune had started to date which is a relief. The boy hasn’t hit on her in over half a year but some things are hard to forget. She can even kind of see what Pyrrha might like about him, if you like hopeless but slightly endearing. 

 And so she’s just walking back to her room when she catches sight of something unbelievable. Pyrrha, one of the most respectable huntresses of their generation, is kissing someone who is obviously not her blond boyfriend. Weiss is in so much shock for a while and just kind of walks away, only to fume silently in her room.

 It only takes a little while for her to crack and tell the rest of her team what she saw. Everyone is kinda can’t believe it but they now that Weiss wouldn’t lie about that. 

After some talking they decide confront Pyrrha about the matter. Pyrrha is confused at first, and then embarrassed and finally ends at amused. She doesn’t know if the others want their relationship to be public but these are their friends so she carefully explains. Her face is red the whole time, and soon team RWBY are also blushing up a storm.

(Weather is was Ren or Nora she was snogging, that’s up to you.)

Arc Curse

Okay but here’s a thought. We know that the Arc family has had hunters - famous hunters -- in it before. So why the hell is Jaune so clueless about like everything? 

Because his family where trying to protect him from something. Male born Arcs are rare, and don’t usually live long enough to have families. It’s a curse. Every Male Arc since the war has died young and heroic deaths. So Jaunes mother and sisters try to keep him from falling to the same fate, except that’s not how Jaune roles. Jaune knows about the curse and that they worry about him, which is why he doesn’t say anything about the kind of isolated way that his family lives. 

But then something happens. Maybe he has to be saved from a Grimm or maybe he saved someone (sister, both for the saving and saved thing?). But he relies that this isn't how he wants to live his life. He forges his transcript - with the help of one of his sisters that he talks into helping him - and gets accepted before the whole family finds out. 

Jaune knows that this is a really stupid thing to do when he’s already destined to die young but he’s tired of hiding. He just wants to be a hero and be able to protect everyone. 

He doesn’t tell his team about the curse. He doesn’t want them to worry. There are a lot of close calls those first few years at Beacon. Then one of his sisters comes to visit and mentions the curse in front of like everyone and Jaunes just like FUCK SIS NO and his team/friends just hone in on him like BTCH WHATS THIS ABOUT A CURSE?! and that’s how Jaune lived to be really fucking old because destiny didn’t stand a fucking chance against NPR and their collective BITCH PLEASE!

Concept: Jaune Arc is a walking allergic disaster. This dude is allergic to everything. He is literally worse the Captain Kirk at this point.

It’s usually Rens job to make sure nothing Jaune eats is ever going to cause any problems. And if that means he gets to pick up lunch for the whole team, well he’s not complaining. Ren is also the one to rush him to the doctors if they’re within city limits.

Pyrrha’s job is to make sure Jaune doesn’t come in contact with anything dangerous - except for Grimm and human threats - in the field. That sometimes means pulling Jaune away from particular plants.

It’s Nora’s jobs to carry Jaune to safety if they’re outside in the wilds. She has the best endurance and she’d get their faster then the other two when it comes to long distances.

They all - including Jaune - carry around epipens around with them. Jaune knows about these precautions and it makes him feel guilty and loved at the same time. On one hand, he’s a risk in a fight and completely useless if he steps on the wrong plant. On the other hand, they care enough about him to change their every day lives and fighting styles for him. Nora would run away from a fight for him and Pyrrha would literally jump into poison ivy for him and Ren would take a forty minute train ride - Ren hates trains almost as much as Jaune hates dustships- just to get gluten and wheat free food for him.

Food

Ren is, unsurprising, their usual go to cook. His pancakes are, of course, his best dish. After years of practice it’s no wonder that he might have perfected the art of craft those delicious golden jacks. One has to be able to dish out quality and quantity in order to feed a whole team of huntresses and hunters in training. He also likes to try new things, with very delicious results most of the time. (His teammates as eager taste tester, and if they steal a few kisses between bite, that’s their business. Tasty business, but still just theirs.) Not to mention those times when team RWBY catches the scent of free food and decides it’s time to visit their favorite neighbors. Ren could also do something to a fish that would leave you weak at the knees it’s that good.

The down side in letting Ren cook is that he tries to make every meal they have as healthy as humanly possible. And not in a tasty way, like how Jaune can do – a necessity with the amount of allergies in his family. No, but with green shakes and other such horrors that even had the usual polite Pyrrha helped drown the house plants with the green goop.

Team Rwby have never come over on those days, understandably, after that first incident.

They only let Pyrrha cook when they need something to burn a hole through something, or get someone to back off with a well placed lunch box. It’s not that her cooking is bad, as much as it’s impossible for anyone to eat unless you want hell fire to take up residence in you body. (That had been hard explanation to sell when they missed three days of school, the first time they let her get to close to the stove. They actually had to talk Miss Goodwitch into trying some to prove a point, she had taken one bite of noodles, stood there for a moment without chewing, before calmly setting the fork down asked them to go to the infirmary the next time they feel sick.) Pyrrha, the only one that can stomach it, is very understanding on why she’s been taken off the cooking chart. She almost always insists on helping with the dishes.

Jaune, as mentioned before, knows his way around the kitchen just fine. He won’t be getting a ten star praise, but he rarely burns anything – be it people or food. That makes him the person, after Ren, who cooks most of the meals. Mostly because no one has anything to complain about when he make food. It’s healthy, if not as much as Ren prefers. And it’s filling, which always sends Pyrrha into a happy post-food coma. Nora, who might poke fun just to poke fun, is a big fan of his dino shaped chicken strips, even if it doesn’t taste quite the same. He grew up watching his dad do his damn best to feed everyone of his allergy riddled children. A few things stuck with him over the years.

Nora, to the surprise of no one, can not cook to save all of Remnant. What did take all of them off guard is that she’s actually not half bad at baking. Downside: she only seems to have enough drive to bake when she’s stressed, worried or – worst of all – angry. (Jaune has come to fear the scent of fresh cupcakes. This is what his life has come to, and he wouldn’t trade it for the world.)

Someone talk to me about how little sex would play a part in polyjnpr’s relationship. Ren is probably Ace - or at least one the ace spectrum- and Jaune is most likely a) still a virgin and b) to in awe of these people as is without breaking his brain with the thought that they might like him enough to share such an experience with him.  

I need good reasons for Pyrrha and Nora, any thoughts?

Flowers

Jaune never thought he would have something like this. To be fair he doesn’t think anyone expects to be in a mutual relationship with all four of his teammates, but life is full of the unexpected, especially for Huntsmen and Huntresses. And here he is, surrounded by people he loves and – miracle of miracle – love him back.

A yellow flower that looks kind of like a rose brushes across his face. Jaune can feel another sneeze coming one. He does his best to hide it in his shoulder and under a fake cough. Luckily some of Nora’s ‘romantic’ heavy rock music is playing loud enough so that no one hears him, and they’re all busy trying organize a room full of flowers. Gifts from Ruby, who accidentally ordered all of them, using Weiss’s credit card, and was forced by said partner to get rid of all of it, fast. Team JNPR came back from morning practice to a messy note on their door and a room full of flora.

The flowers are all beautiful, it’s just a shame that they were plotting Jaunes demise.

“And these ones we have to keep, Ren and you can squish them in books,”

“That sounds like a lovely idea.” Pyrrha was doting over several dozen daisy’s with contentment in her eyes.

Nora speeds from a bundle of blue bells and too a vase full of yellow flowers, the same kinda that had been forced into his arms by said girl nearly half an hour ago. “Ohhhh, more Jauney flowers! They're fluffy and yellow like your hair, but those ones over there are blue, like your eyes, or these ones which are purple like your face, but the-.”

Nora’s zipping around came to an abrupt halt in the middle of the room, before she slowly turns towards her blond boyfriend. And sure enough, their fearless leader’s face was no longer it’s regular pale tone. Pyrrha is staring at him now, eyes wide and several daisys crushed in her hand.

Jaune wants to open his mouth and reassure his partners, but enough air wasn’t reaching his lungs.

Ren, who had been pressing flowers into a book – one that Pyrrha got him for just that purpose – and was the closes, was wearing a nice blue shirt. One of Jaune’s if he’s not mistaken, it feels like it against his face at least. The part he still had feeling in that is.

Jaune wonders what first year him would say if he saw this, third year him being rushed to the infirmary in the arms of his boyfriend. Probably something insecure and in denial. That’s fine, third year him is perfectly warm and protected. He might be passing out, but that just means that it’s a Tuesday. (It happens all the time, for a number of different reasons. Jaune’s gotten used to it, as have the nurses and doctors of Beacon. His partners on the other hand… )
