She couldn’t deny that her request was petulant, perhaps even unreasonably demanding, but finding out that he had hidden an injury, even previous, from her was enough to flare up her worries again. Had he been reckless? She didn’t want to lecture him ( she respected him too much to ), but there had to be some way to discourage him from pulling a stunt like that again. 

His answer, however, took her thoughts to a screeching halt. Where....?
