[At Adventure Camp; in the middle of the night]
Annie: *wakes up* I need to go train… but Trevor caught me last time, and I don’t want to be the reason they get a night time supervisor or whatever…
(Annie stares out of the window, then makes up her mind)
Annie: No, strengthening my skills are far more important! I’ll just try harder to not get caught.
(Annie manages to sneak out of her cabin, starts to sneak out of the camp when she freezes as soon as she sees someone’s eye shine. Then she starts to creep closer to find out who it is, she then sees Sonny standing at the edge of the tree line)
Sonny, who’s sleep walking: *looks at her* Good morning Miss, how are you?
Annie, not catching on that he’s not even awake: Mr. Conductor, it’s the middle of the night.
Sonny: *staring at her blankly* …
Annie: *assuming he’s testing her* …
Sonny: *smiles and nods* Don’t worry, I’ll get that for you right away!
Annie, getting frustrated with him: I didn’t even say anything!
Sonny: Don’t worry! It’s no trouble at all, just wait here!
Annie: Mr. Conductor, if this is a prank or a test; it’s not funny!
(Sonny doesn’t respond, but instead starts to walk into the tree line without any further acknowledgment of her or what she was saying)
Annie: This must be a test from the grown ups- it has to be! Just to see if I’ll risk getting into trouble again! I won’t fall for such a trick…
(Annie starts to walk back to her cabin, but then she pauses, realizing that something felt wrong about this, but couldn’t figure out what)
Annie: Wait- Mr. Conductor would never pull such a test- at least, he would never go this far…
(Annie looks into the tree line where Sonny walked in, noticing that he hadn’t come back yet, then she suddenly hears a door swing open not too far from her; hearing Trevor call out for Sonny)
Annie: Something’s wrong…
Trevor: *sees Annie, then runs up to her* Annie, please go back to your cabin!
Annie: What’s going on with Mr. Conductor? Why are you looking for him in a panic?
Trevor: He might be sleep walking- but that is exactly why I need you and the other kids to stay in your cabins while I look for him! I need everyone to be in one place!
Annie: I will help look for him! Faster that way!
Trevor: No Annie! Handling a sleepwalker is a very complicated task! You can’t just walk up to them and wake them up-
Annie: Don’t worry, Mr. Trevor! I caught his scent, and I’ll be back in a few minutes! I promise! *runs into the forest* Keep everyone safe while I’m gone!
Trevor: Annie! Weren’t you even listening to me?! Come back!!
Annie, further away: I’ll bring him back!!
(Annie runs deeper into the woods, following Sonny’s scent and ignoring Trevor’s please for her to come back)
Annie: I can find Mr. Conductor in no time! It’ll be faster if I do it myself!
