~Thyroid & Health updates~

My goodness these last few months have been pretty busy for me. I've been lurking a lot but realized I haven't actually updated my last post from like....months ago? My bad.

A few months ago I got my thyroid completely removed under the suspicion of cancer. It did turn out to be cancer sadly. Papillary Carcinoma, textbook-like with no apparent mutations luckily! Along with my thyroid, they also removed 4 lymph nodes, all which had traces of the cancer. I was completely dumbfounded at first but am in much better spirits now. This Tuesday I had my "glow pill" (dose was 130-150 i think???), I.E - Radiated Iodine, which to put it in simple terms, is basically iodine that has radiation in it (thyroid cells LOVE it and generally soak it up which in turn kills the cells). This is not chemo as my radiation lvls at the highest were "76", was told chemo radiation can easily be in the "600+ range", but is still a form of radiation. Currently in quarantine, hence why I can post. Spent the first day in hospital but was released wed as I drank 8L of water and I was safe enough to go home (to the surprise of the drs. Apparently my kidneys are working fantastic! lmao) xD No symptoms really rn, as it's only been 3 days but fingers crossed it stays that way! Go for my full-body scan next week to see the extent/if it traveled.....but again, have to keep reminding myself if it did travel, it's not a new cancer. Just thyroid cells somewhere else and then more iodine, which will hopefully do the trick! I am obviously tired from the whole ordeal but I am here. Happy to be here. Misophonia

I finally figured out why I physically can't stand the sound of chewing, asmr, whispering, or anything like that.

I have something called Misophonia and it basically means that I have negative reactions to certain sounds.

I tried explaining this to my family and they just made jokes about it and certain family members actually do things and make sounds that I can't stand on purpose. Possibly because I am self diagnosing which is mainly how people find out that they actually have misophonia, as having to be tested for it by a doctor is almost never needed.

But knowing that Misophonia is real and that I'm not being oversensitive or overreacting makes me feel better.

So found out that my mom actually doesn’t accept my gender identity tonight (I’m non-binary) because I brought up top-surgery and how I want it and she just went off on me saying that she’ll never support it and then she yelled that I’ll always be a female and then told me how I’m so selfish (one of my biggest fears). But ya. So my entire family doesn’t accept me. That’s fucking great

Let’s see, vultures are bald due to the fact that they typically are eating off other dead animals. Normally the call of eagles in movies are actually hawk calls! Movies will do this a lot, putting kookaburras in tropical areas— and adding dramatic sound effects to things that aren’t the most accurate.

Barn owls will swallow their food whole. Oof.

When people say that if him and Olivia are dating that it’s a very hard long distance relationship it’s silly I mean he is a actor so no matter who he dates regardless if they are famous or not it is going to be long distance. It’s not different to if he was dating zendaya that was long distance and even more so cause she lives in la Olivia lives in London like Tom to when Tom is home he will see her and I’m sure she will fly out and see him on set every now and then

It’s the same for everyone in the entertainment business it sucks but it is what it is. Sure it would probably be easier dating someone who is also in the Indus because they understand how it works and could probaly handle the distance better but I’m sure Olivia knows what she signed up for getting into a relationship with Tom

Ok here’s the thing tho, he is an adult!!! And I feel like he wouldn’t get into a relationship if he wasn’t gonna put the effort in ya know what I mean! So I completely agree with you here friend!
