Post op day 15: So just just over two weeks ago I had my surgery and came home,I wasn’t in any real pain then due to the meds doing their job.I am still in pain with the left side from my stitches and this is apparently due to the surgeon taking more skin away from that side and it’s totally normal. Nearly all of the swelling & bruising has gone down and I can actually start to see how my breasts are gonna look going forward. I still have to wear my post op bra for another 6 weeks though 😫 it’s not that it’s uncomfortable,it’s just very tight. Today I bought myself a Victoria secret hoodie,this is important because firstly how small the sizing is and now I can finally fit in it and secondly because I never felt I could wear this label with the way my body was.Everyone knows how beautiful a Victoria secret model is and I suppose in a way I never felt good enough to wear it but today I feel empowered to wear it and I love how I look in it,even if I don’t have any makeup on 💪

Post op day 13

Oh my gawd!where has the last 13 days gone?! I know I've been sleeping loads but seriously?

Anyway now that the dressings are off and I'm allowed to shower again,I am starting to feel really good,walking is also getting easier as the swelling goes down so there isn't so much pulling on my stitches,no more irritation from the dressings and I just feel cleaner and slightly more comfortable.

The only down side to being able to shower whilst having stitches still in is that they have to air dry for quite a while so effectively once I'm showered I have to lay around with my tits out drying 😂 normally this wouldn't be an issue however I recently gave keys out to family members so that when they popped in to check on me I wouldnt have to get up and open doors,so I'm slightly worried about some relative walking in whilst I'm air drying 🙈

Post op day 12 update: Dressings are off and I'm allowed to shower properly! I literally cannot tell you how excited I am for that!Also i got to see my new breasts properly for the first time in full 😍so happy with the results!

Post op day 21...it appears that I have bust a stitch and now have a small hole...not going to lie,I'm panicking 😱

Taking the drs advice a little too literal there Archie,Archie has taken it upon himself to ensure I get more rest...by pinning me to the bed 😂

Post op day 7: Woke up at 5 am this morning and thought it would be an ace idea to do a bit of light house work 😫 Took a little car ride to the shop and tided the utility room,I was beat by 11am so went back to bed for a little rest😴 My mood seems to swing form being fine to bursting into tears at any given moment and I'm feeling super low,not sure if it's a result of all the meds leaving my body but I'm also still super bloated which isn't helping. As a typical Sunday here in England we had a huge family roast dinner at my parents which was lovely,lots of lovely fresh nutritional food but I was struggling to keep my eyes open,had a sneaky little nap while the family walked the hounds 😆 Now back home resting,I think it's clear that I am still trying to do too much too soon but I'm getting so bored with just laying around.

Post op day 12

Another bad night last night which meant I was awake at 4am needing painkillers,I even tried to sleep on my side....apparently I'm not quite at that stage yet,however I am now going longer and longer without them and I'm only down to taking ibuprofen which is good.

I have my second check up today and fingers crossed that all the dressings can come off and stay off and that I will be able to have proper showers again!

Still getting some pain and tightness from the left side,oddly also from time to time I get pain in my armpit on that side as well 🤔
