Chapter 2

Loki X OFC multichapter fic

Summary: After the events of Thor: TDW, Loki finds himself in a peculiar realm, the likes of which he has never seen or heard of before. What happens next remains to be seen (partly for suspense reasons and partly because the author doesn't know yet lol)

Aka welcome to my take on Gulliver's Travels ft. Loki.

A/N: Lol idk if anyone is really interested in this but I'm still posting just cuz.

"Don't challenge me, woman. I am a shapeshifter."

"Oh? So why have you not used your magic yet?" She crossed her arms, eyebrows raised as the salty wind lifted her tousled black hair in little wisps around her head.

Loki scowled. "Using seiðr now would mean inviting a troop of very dangerous individuals from across the universe. But that isn't stopping me from working out a plan, shapeshifting, escaping and leaving you here to clean up after me."

Hello! I was wondering if you could help me too in finding a fic? ☺ it's set during/after Thor2. Loki is imprisoned and Thor is visiting him and finds Loki ill (=in heat). He implores Odin and Frigga to help Loki and they instruct a healer. Thor watches like a hawk and decides to take matters in his own hands. 😊😏

MCU AU Cook!Loki

After TDW Loki didn’t try to be king on Asgard but rather just fled to Midgard. He needed to stay hidden from Odin and Heimdall, so he had to limit his use of magic. He found a job in a Restaurant with a fake identity.

Magic wasn’t the only thing Frigga had shared with him. In fact she had thaught both him and Thor in the culinary arts, because she found it would build their character, but where Thor failed terribly, Loki had soon shown an exceptional talent in combining the right ingredients to create delicious meals. Needless to say, that he didn’t cook very often when he got older, after all his quickly growing passion for cooking seemed to be just another thing for people to look down upon, even more so, because a prince shouldn’t bother about these things.

• Loki was on very good terms with the kitchen staff in Asgard

• Loki takes a few weeks but soon he becomes an essential part of the cooking crew on earth

• eventually he rises up to the head chef position

• he is a perfectionist in the kitchen and a hard but fair head chef to his crew and they love him, they’re like a small family

• loki has a sweet tooth and loves making desserts

Now, he knows he doesn’t have a right to complain. You don’t have to explain that, he does /get/ that he’s the one in the wrong here. He’s not stupid.

But it really is exhausting, spending so much time pretending to be someone you hate. His Odin impression isn’t bad, he’s kept the whole of Asgard fooled for quite some time now, but it’s wearing him out.

It’s boring, too. Being King is actually a lot more work than he was expecting, and trying to keep a kingdom running isn’t nearly as much fun as trying to tear it apart.

He’s in his chambers now, and he lifted the illusion as soon as he entered. He sits on the bed, letting out a long, weary sigh, only to jump to his feet a moment later as the door swings open.

The woman standing there looks familiar, but he can’t quite place her. Most of his mind is taken up with sheer panic, because she /saw/ him and he doesn’t have the illusion up and she knows he’s alive and she’ll tell people-

He silences the train of thought, grabbing the woman’s arm and pulling her into the room, shutting the door behind them. He leans against it to block her escape, studying her.

A memory tugging at his thoughts, distracting him - he talked to her at a party, didn’t he? They were friends, before he fell. His eyes narrow. “Niva?”

Head Canon;; Aether post TDW

I see this a lot with a lot of other Janes. It’s been done in really neat ways, but my Jane doesn’t retain the Aether, and she can’t harness it’s power. 

In my main verse post TDW, Jane has residual physical and psychological consequences from containing such a powerful and other worldly force within her. She has severe PTSD, nightmares, and paranoia. 

It causes her to pull away from people, and try to fix herself. 

It also gives her some pretty severe health issues that she eventually has to tell Thor about so he can maybe help her find some medical help that Asgard might have access to that would work better than earth.

Rating: Teen and up Category: Gen Chapter 7/?

Summary: War is coming, and with Asgard a disaster, ruled by an Odin that no longer seems himself, and Thor abdicated for Midgard, Sif realizes that her warning goes unheeded, prompting her to leave her realm. It’s not just the Realm Eternal in danger but all of Yggdrasil. Yet nothing ever comes easily, and as she builds her numbers and prepares her army for what is to come, another realm needs no incoming battle to destroy them. Helping them will gain her another ally for the inevitable future, but force her to choose between the realm of her birth and a people she had once thought monsters.

Warning: This is a Sif centric fic. Though other Thor characters will appear, their part is not central to the plot. Most of this story revolves around Sif who is, for now, away from Asgard.

A/N:

Some things to keep in mind for this fic: It takes place primarily in the MCU; however, I disagree with a few things done in the movie verse, namely their handling of the Dark Elves. In this story, they have not all been wiped out. You can assume that Malekith was operating on his own, separate from the majority of his people, and Odin's little anecdote that they were gone never happened. Also, they are not creatures of the dark, that doesn't even make sense to me, thus I choose to ignore it. you can consider them to be more like their comic counterparts. Jötnar are also not quite as depicted in MCU. For my purposes, Jötnar are not as tall as in MCU, measuring between seven and eight feet tall. The Æsir are gods, not just aliens. Again, I prefer comic canon for this one. I reject their 5,000 year life span, but will allow that their long lives make it hard for them to conceptualize time the way we short-lived humans do. Also in the comics, Sif was given a sword that allowed her to travel between the realms. She has that sword in this story, but I've tweaked the way she received it. This story takes place away from Asgard, Sif believes that Loki is dead, and Odin is losing his mind. Thor is on Midgard doing whatever he does with Jane and the Avengers. Taking place appx. 18 months after The Dark World. Because this is set away from Asgard, there will be OCs, lots of OCs.

Speaking of OCs, I need to mention that Ardunn, who will appear in Chapter 2, is an original character that belongs entirely to Ebonrune, I only hope to do him justice in this story. Most of my headcanons can be blamed on her as well, as most were born of our fangirling on Skype.
