Life Update: Graduated from my undergrad in April and now I’m taking a year off and studying for law school!
Currently living a life of “oh well’s” rather than “what if’s,” but still feeling like “what then and when, God?”
I had my first round interview as Office Manager for the company Ghost Autonomy (a super cool self-driving startup that is THRIVING after 7 years atm!)
And I “nailed the interview” according to my recruiter I am applying through!! :) He is setting up the second round interview for next week! I had two interviews today; one for the local animal shelter as animal behavior coordinator and the other was this one, and I am so shocked to say it, but the startup job feels like a much better fit for a variety of reasons.
But I can’t help but feel so torn bc I want a career in animal welfare/research and that job is right up that alley... but the other job offers more pay, more hours, and seems like really a neat group of people. Ugh, adulting is rough sometimes lol
I hope someone will help me as I enter life after college. It seems scary. I still want to have fun but not feel old :/
I am back in the studio so here is what my spaces look like now!
Lesson 1
Once you graduate, people are gonna ask, what are you gonna do now that you’re done with school? To be honest, I have no idea. And that’s alright. Lesson number one of post-undergrad, you don’t have to have everything together. No person has everything together. I mean unless you like the Dalai Lama and found your inner happiness and peace or Mother Theresa and found your calling, then I’m happy for you, I am. But for the most part, we’re all a little lost in this world and that’s alright. It’s ok to be a little lost. As long as you have an idea of what direction you want to head towards, then that’s all that really matters.
I’m starting to have hips omg
