hector barbossa ⚓️🏴‍☠️

pt. 3 of my pirates of the caribbean quick paint study. at first i cursed myself for choosing an image with the monkey (jack) but i ended up having fun painting that little face!

this is one of my favourite shots of barbossa, the smugness of his face was something i really wanted to capture. i also wanted to make sure i was true to his textured face, something i don't draw often.

according the the 5th movie, (we don't talk about it) he's also a father! happy father's day!

i've already started painting james norrington (🤭) but who else should i paint?! let me know!!
