slay... a dragon? \\ ( open [third floor ?] )
He repeated the question in his head, over and over again as he was in the elevator, there was no way that could happen.
Sure, the idea of slaying a dragon sounded fun, but that was when he was playing games. Your character could die but then he or she had infinite lives. But for him to be the one slaying the dragon?
So he really was hoping that they were just joking, and that if there really was a dragon, it was just a fake one. Not the type that breathed fire, or had nigh-impenetrable skin or anything. Plus, how would it fit inside a hotel corridor, anyway? No matter how rich the owners of this place were, they couldn't actually afford to have a dragon with them, right? Right?
The elevator finally stopped at the designated floor, the lights suddenly blinked out. He hadn't dared step out yet, he couldn't... because he felt heat. He felt heat, so hot it felt like you were standing near an active volcano. And he could hear, something gigantic was breathing.
If this was true, then... he looked above his head, and found his thoughts confirmed. The words 'sangaku manami', his name, were on top of his head. He also looked down, and surprisingly enough, his clothes had changed. He'd read enough manga and played enough games to know what class he was assigned to, and he knew what his strengths and limitations were, too.
☄ "Okay, this might be a bit easier than I thought..."
The player named 'Sangaku Manami' was an assassin class.
He reached behind him, and sure enough, a sheathed katana was there.
Still, there was just one of him, and the dragon was probably huge. Then again, the people did tell him that this was supposed to be easy.
☄ "Here goes..." He took a deep breath to steel his nerves. Opening the elevator doors, to find himself face to face with a fire-breathing dragon.
☄ "I would have preferred a race, really!" He shouts, charging towards the dragon.
