Morning came far sooner than Miguel wanted it to. His eyes still heavy with sleep and his body felt like it was made of a heavy goo. The smell of Celeste's shampoo slowly registered in his mind and instinctively, he buried himself further into it.

With no one to hurry them, he easily fell back to sleep. When he woke again, his body was still heavy but his mind was wide awake. His eyelids no longer feeling like they were made of lead, he found Celeste still asleep in his arms. He smiled as he admired her sleeping face, pushing some stray strands of hair out of her face.

Feeling her stir slowly awake, he ducked his head to give her a quick kiss.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty," he croaked, his own voice still laden with the remnants of sleep.
