How hard was the 3.0 gpa and 2.7 Math/sci gpa to achieve?
OMG HOW OLD IS THIS ASK I’M SORRY
Okay if you start off on the right foot (aka if you have a good study regimen and you’re very motivated) then it’ll be fine and you’ll get into pharm school in one piece and that’s all very well and good.
But if you have bad habits, or just never had to develop study habits bc high school was on the easy side (i.e. if you’re like me), then you’ll definitely hit a few obstacles when you start. It was pretty difficult for me and I wound up taking an extra semester to salvage my GPA.
It really depends on how consistent you are, how determined you are, and really just how mentally prepared you are for an intense program. You definitely won’t get a “typical” college experience here, and if you try to compromise work for play you’ll have to be VERY careful.
That being said, if you do have to extend, it’s not the end of the world. A GPA is important, but so is living and having good experiences. At the end of the day, all I can say is work hard, try hard, and take breaks when you can. Good luck!
