๐ต๐ญโจ๏ธ Undas is almost here! This weekend, many Filipinos will be heading to the cemeteries to visit the graves and tombs of their loved ones who have departed this life.
Known as Undas, Unras, Dรกun, Kalag-Kalag, Pistang Kalag, Pista'y Inatey, or more commonly as Araw ng mga Patay, Nov 1-2 is when Filipinos across the world celebrate and honor the lives of those who have passed.
While the dates may have been influenced from All Soul's Day, the practices and beliefs are pre-colonial in origin, as we already had yearly celebrations of the dead during their death anniversary.
