Suspected to be a mid-1930s Chevrolet, possibly a 1934, but would love more opinions or certainty!
1934 Chevrolet pickup does lead us close, as seen in this 1.5 Ton Flatbed model...
...but the grille does not tilt or narrow down as much as the model in picture, and the cab corners are much too rounded to match.
@predawnrex04's suggestion of an International leads to a closer match in this 1935 C Line...
...which may still not be a complete match given the drawing in question, as he notes, appears to have a wooden cab.
@thepackingcroco, however, suggests that it may be a "generic, late-1920s looking truck" not directly, or at least not faithfully, referencing any one real life equivalent. - @tumblehcendrum
