Predestination (2014) is queer rep thats on some whole other shit. It's a love story, it's a horror story, it's sci fi, it's maybe the first ever movie I've seen with a character who's intersex and it's plot relevant and they experience medical trauma but somehow that isn't even the main centerpiece of their story. It's got trans rep in a way I'm sure other people would split hairs over whether it's trans rep but man... it sure is something

Intersex unwitting time traveler that transitions from male to female, goes back in time and has a relationship with themselves, gets their old self pregnant, and ends up being the baby that came from the pregnancy, making themselves their own mother, father, and romantic partner?? And also this character is played by Sarah Snook??

Listen. Titanic (1997) is already one of my most favorite films ever. I've watched it countless times as a kid, and maybe three times as an adult. Love it. True love exists in that movie.
However, I just had an epiphany.
What if Jack was a masc woman.
I was watching the car sex scene just now and I thought, "Jack looks like a twink. Like a girl, even. Wait, I've seen this girl before. Wait! Oh my god! Jack is Trans Sarah Snook in Predestination (2014)!"
And from then on I just can't stop thinking about Titanic with Jack as a woman. Gosh, just imagine.
