there is a very ridiculous little conure at my friend’s house, where I am visiting. his name is Preet and he is precious and I don’t get along with hookbills (because I don’t know how to speak hookbill) but he likes me for some reason. He comes and sits on my hand while I am typing and runs the top of his beak all over my hand and wrist while making a soft noise. Sometimes he gets down and cuddles up to the side of my hand and wants me to just rotate my hand to rub his side/neck while he moves his head around. and a few times he has walked up my chest to the collar of my shirt and deposited himself in the crook of my neck under my chin, to rub his head on my chin. I am learning Hookbill a little, or at least Conure, I can produce several sounds he likes and I haven’t been bitten yet today, unlike the rest of this week when he would get angry because I was not answering him right. I am quite proud of my progress!
