Ya'll it has been one hell of a week On Wednesday I woke up to spotting and cramping, so we packed up the kids and headed for the hospital where my contractions became regular, I was checked and was dilated at 1cm. They gave me a steroid shot and put me on an ambulance and sent me to the big hospital 4 hours from home, half way there a NICU team met us and got on for the rest of the way so there was like 7 people on the ambulance. Andrew followed behind us with the kids. Got here, I was dilated to 2cm, I was given drugs to stop the labor, I was in the delivery room until midnight and then admitted to the maternity floor where I've been ever since with intermittent contractions and bleeding. I got a second steroid shot to help develop the baby's lungs on Thursday and a full course of adalat, the drug used to stop labor, that ended on Friday. Ever since I've been just laying here and praying to stay pregnant. I got to the 28 week mark on Saturday, thankfully, and I really really hope little man decides to stay put at leasssst another month. I won't be allowed to go home but honestly I don't even want to, I'm still so shaken up after everything. I want my baby born in the safest place possible. So yeah that's my 28 week update.
