Why am I on like my 30th rewatch of Wicked and only now hearing that Mombie is in canon one of the Professors there, for biological arts (she was big on shape-shifting, makes sense).

NOW I'M LOOKING AT THE TEACHERS WONDERING WHO SHE IS AND IF SHE HAS TIP/OZMA HIDDEN AWAY SOMEWHERE.

Dark Oz idea, hear me out.

If we do that whole idea where, Scarecrow, Tin Man, and the Lion are kings and are for some reason evil. Either for their own reasons, or they're being controlled/cursed. For this story I'm going with cursed and corrupted idea. Because I got to go with my favorite Oz tropes, of course The Wizard (Oscar) and Glinda have a hand in this.

And we're following Jinjur's army opposing them.

But this has been lasting years, and things are going quite differently, grimer and darker so on, as Dark Oz media usually goes.

Jinjur leads the army, most of which want to dethrone the kings, but she is more concerned with power then freeing everyone then she let's on.

Also in the army by this point is Nimmie Amee, who refused to be Nick's Queen and is slowly working on becoming a Witch in her own right after the East Witch's death.

Ozma, still in Tip's pre-magic transition body and going by the name, but has realized she is a woman. (I will make her fully a trans woman every chance I get you can't stop me). She is helping the resistance after her escape from Mombie but has no idea she is the heir to the throne. Jinjur intends to keep it that way.

Jack is also in the army with Tip and is one of the few men here.

And a recently escaped Scraps Angeline, who has been kept by Pipt and Margolotte for so long she barely has any idea what's happening, Jinjur may take advantage of this a bit.

Tip/Ozma has no idea Jinjur is secretly working with Mombie, which is a large part of how this partly secret army has lasted so long.

It's known the army exists and is opposing the kings, they're on the hunt for them, but it is also largely secret who the members of the army are.

And we go from there with how this collapses and all the drama it creates. Between people, a lot of spy missions, Scraps/Angeline going to the Emerald City included. Me being myself will add romance to this between Scraps and Scarecrow, but make it complicated, just as the whole situation will be.

Jellia is also a spy in the Emerald Palace.

...And of course, following most Dark Oz media tropes, at some point during all this, an adult Dorothy Gale crashes in with no idea of how Oz has changed or what has happened.

Her old friends Scarecrow, Nick Chopper and Lion try to get her on their side, but also one of the people she'll meet is an in hiding Ozma/Tip. (And again, me being myself, there will be romance between them that will make things complicated).

And we keep going from there.

Who else is sick of the TV ads? Vote yes on 1, vote no on 1. The constant phone calls and texts to my phone about who I need to vote for. How about people just make up their own minds and vote on what they think will make it better for them, without any pressures from anyone. I moved to USA when I was 11. Bill Clinton was in office and boy did everyone love him. That man openly admitted to cheat on his wife and the public still loved and respected him. Over the last 24 years that I have lived in this country I have seen the country that others used to look up to become so divided, ridiculed, made fun of. I hate getting involved in political debates but we need to do better. Better as a country, better at listening to both sides. So today, don't vote based on what the TV tells you, think of what will be better for you. As I grew up, all my school years it's been drilled into my head that democrats is the best option, probably didn't help that I live in MA. The older I got the more I learned about the parties and as adult I have voted republican the last 2 presidential elections. I have received criticism from my in-laws and some friends. Funny since I never tell them they vote wrong so why do they have to say that to me? Bottom line is no matter what party you are with, just vote. Take a few minutes out your day day and go to the polls. 11/08/22
