BLACK INDIE PROJECT!! YAP TO ME ABOUT IT!! /pos
So,
Crystallium Fortitude
This is a story about a group of young adults fighting the colonial regime of England from taking over Jamaica! It starts off with Seth Grace, Fang, Elliott and James living their peaceful life on the island when suddenly a decent of Jack Carter invades with their airship.
In the midst of the chaos the group is scattered and their powers awaken! With the help of Darwin and Jordan, Seth and Grace set off on their quest to take back Jamaica and save its people and learning the origin of their powers in the process.
SETH SMITH:
A very listless young man that once he puts his mind into something its hard for him to let go, he dreams of a peaceful Jamaica and with his new powers, promises to do just that!
Grace James:
A sweet and studious young lady with a great eye for observation. She wants to one day be a teacher. She's confident in the power of her friends and wants nothing more then for life to go back to how it was.
Fang:
A close friend to Seth and Grace! Ambitious and courageous he dreamed to travel the world and become someone of importance! He hoped to always have his friends by his side but after the attack he goes missing, with no one knowing where he was last seen! Grace and Seth are searching high and low but when they find him, will he be the same Fang they knew?
James:
An incredibly bring boy with the skills to back it up, he too dreams of changing the world and making it a better place especially for his home in Haiti. Though he's not very expressive he cares about the people he loves greatly, much like his bestie Elliott
Elliott:
Best friends with James and is a passionate yet aggressive soul who wants nothing then to be strong enough to protect what matters to him (Friends and Family). After the attack he spent his days training with an obia queen who promised him great strength.
Darwin:
A crystallium warrior who travels the globe in search of adventure and answers to the mysteries of crystallium. Though outwardly stern in her ways of teaching she ultimately supports Seth and Grace with her wisdom.
Jordan:
Mayor of Kingston Jamaica, he is a very silly yet down to earth guy who holds many secrets. He teaches Seth in the ways of leadership and knowledge of crystallium!
Jack Carter II:
Dependent of Jack Carter, he hopes to travel in his footsteps to honor his "legacy". He is in search of crystallium powers so that he may in turn become even greater then Jack I, through the powers and resources that Jamaica has.
Crystallium:
No one truly understands it or what its purpose is. Crystallium shows itself in Dyer situations and in the form of a heart crystal with it comes the weapon manifested within her very soul and the power to slay any enemy but only if you have the worthy qualities to hone it.
So with this project, I'm hoping to make a comic with it one but first I'd like to get a writer on board, and maybe an assistant artist too. Hopefully pay them. And then get the ball rolling from there
I'm hoping to get it started someday but with how things are going it might be a while..... I hope to still supply you guys with content in the meanwhile.
THE MOUTHWASHING FANDOM IS FUCKING STUPID!!!
You people are so insanely media illiterate that you genuinely think Jimmy was the ONLY person wrong in that story. I'm so fucking tired of this shit that I'm gonna spell it out for you animals.
Writing Notes: Finding your Premise
A premise is the 1-2 sentence overview or central idea of your story.
Your premise should introduce your audience to the 5 major story elements.
Essentially, you will tell readers who the main character is, what situation they find themselves in, their objective, what or who they are up against, and the main challenge they will face.
Having a premise in your notes is helpful because it can be used as a guide to keep your writing on track.
EXAMPLE
Simba, heir to the throne (plains), believes he is responsible for his father’s death and vows never to return and bring shame on his mother and pride. But his uncle Scar is running the kingdom into ruins and soon the pride will perish.
Premise Example Breakdown
Character: Simba
Situation: Believes he caused his father’s death and runs away
Objective: To never return home
Who/what they are up against: Uncle Scar
Challenge: Scar is ruining the kingdom
Questions to Consider
Who is your main protagonist / hero? What is their defining characteristic?
What situation do they find themselves in?
What does your character want?
Who or what are they up against?
Where does your story take place? How does that impact your character’s journey?
What is the central conflict of your story? What’s at stake?

I do have a part 2 of the waterfront au smut coming, but in the meantime, I wanted to lay some groundwork for the au itself:
Kara is adopted into the Kent Family, an old fishing family in the Carolinas with a history of drug smuggling. Ma and Pa Kent love her, but she never once believes they love her as much as their actual son, Clark. It's plain in the way they promote him to run the fishery despite his various fumbles and bumbles throughout the years, while keeping Kara front of house at the restaurant (which she hates and resents). It smacks of expectations to stand there and look pretty while the men do the real work.
Clark doesn't have Kara's business sense, nor her knack with numbers. Within just a few years under Clark's control, the family business is at risk of going under and taking the family name down with it. So when Clark is approached by some drug dealers to run shipments for them in exchange for some quick money, Clark takes the offer, unwittingly ensaring the family in a web of cartels and rival familes, and putting their lines in jeopardy.
Kara is the first to realize what Clark's doing. She goes rooting in his ledgers to find evidence of poor management to show Ma and Pa Kent, proof that Clark was the wrong choice to take the lead. Instead she finds evidence of the smuggling, and instead of bringing it to Ma and Pa, she brings it to her lover-- DEA Agent Lena Walsh-- with a plan to take Clark down for good. After all, Kara can't say for sure that Pa Kent won't turn a blind eye to Clark's actions: he's done it before, and though Pa himself got out of the game when his own father died, smuggling *is* the Kent family way. He wouldn't hold Clark accountable.
So the DEA will.
Lena is eager for the chance. It would be a big notch in her belt as an agent, and would look good on her resume. But more importantly, it would get Kara where she wants to be. Kara would run the fishery and the family restaurant, and the family will prosper, which will then fuel the economy of the little beach town of Havenport.
But before Kara and Lena can move in on Clark, he's double-crossed by his supplier, sparking a chain of events that will threaten the lives of the entire Kent family-- and the lives of everyone they love.

The world is fracturing...
The Sword Coast is a land of magic and mystery, home to ancient cities, powerful factions, and legendary adventurers. For centuries, the realm has thrived with the aid of powerful arcane forces flowing beneath the surface: an invisible web of energy known as the leylines. These leylines are the veins of the world's magic, powering spells, holding reality together, and connecting distant places through a delicate balance.
But something has gone wrong.
The leylines are breaking, fracturing in ways that no one fully understands. Magic is behaving unpredictably. Portals to other planes of existence are opening in once quiet villages. Arcane storms swirl above cities. People whisper of an ancient melody, a song echoing through the magic itself. Amidst this chaos, a mysterious group known as the Cult of the Last Song is working to reshape the world through a blend of music and magic. In public, they appear as the Silver Chord Society, a troupe of wandering artists, musicians, and scholars. But in secret? Their performances tap into the broken leylines, bending reality to their will. In response, new alliances have begun to form. A circle of druids gathers around a granite table, sensing the imbalance in nature. Armored knights ready their weapons, guarding against what may come. Scholars chase forbidden knowledge, while masked performers sing songs they don't fully understand and bend the world around them in new and dangerous ways. You are but one of many swept into this growing tide.
Will you protect the world? Or reshape it?
