Good to know! I mostly just shared it because the energy of the video fit with a lot of the metaphors/visuals I used in “The Cowardice of Lions.” But it does make sense that it was fake - the relative proportions of the chicken and the eagle looked off.

The Discord has a channel where people have been throwing ideas around, or others come to ask for ideas or talk through what they’re thinking. So that’s an option if you don’t know where to start, but otherwise, the sky’s your limit.

12. If you could change the fate of any one character, who would it be?It might be @c-rowlesdraws‘ influence, but Aftran! Her story completely ended with her nothliting as a whale, which is very thematic for Cassie, but does a serious disservice to Aftran’s character arc. The Yeerk Peace Movement plot was abandoned in general after #29, which is a shame, but specifically Aftran had such an opportunity to have a great redemption arc and really join the team. Not necessarily as a morphing member, but in sort of an informant/intelligence role like the Chee served. In fact, there would have been so much less (literal) deus ex machina if Aftran/the Peace Movement could have replaced some of the late series Chee plots. the character dynamics with the other team members would have been so interesting, too. Jake would have to constantly weigh her contributions to the team. Both Jake and Rachel would be conflicted about trusting her vs. trusting Cassie’s judgment. Tobias would have another nothlit experience to think about and may have even been able to connect to her on that level. Marco would have hated her and constantly doubted her, and he would resent it when her plans were actually good and he had to admit it. Ax would absolutely hate her and would have to come to terms with associating with a yeerk. Aftran becoming human literally adds an interesting angle to every single main character, and dropping her storyline was one of the biggest mistakes of the series, imo.Also, definitely check out @c-rowlesdraws‘ Nothlit Aftran AU, because it’s perfect in every way.18. What morph would you go into to relax and wind down?Some kind of a big reptile like an alligator or a python maybe? They don’t have much in the way of intrusive instincts, it seems like, and they just get to be lazy and warm all the time. I always thought it was a little cheap that the only yeerk’d race we got to meet (besides the Taxxons and the Hork-Bajir) were the Leerans! Mass Effect fans, imagine if the turians were allied with the Andalites against the Yeerks. Their cultures would mesh so well! Imagine if the the volus could engineer some kind of environmental suit for the Yeerks to live in instead of hosts. I think the Yeerks and volus in particular would make good allies because it seems like they have similar bureaucratic values. Imagine Cassie or Tobias meeting a hanar and discussing philosophy with them. If the Yeerks enslaved the krogan, that could have been another justification the salarians would have to sterilize them, and they would have made even more dangerous shock troops than the Hork-Bajir because of their warlike culture. The asari would be totally above it all and refuse to help out with the war, causing a lot of tension among the Council. And the quarians would also stay out of it, with the excuse that their resources are limited, but also because they would make awful hosts and they have no stake in it because the Yeerks pose no threat to them.I think this is a good crossover I’ve written.

After years of searching I have finally figured out my #vegan hangover go-to meal. Get your fave shitty instant ramen and a can of coconut milk, maybe thinned out with water, whatever, you do you. Make sure you are only wearing underwear and slippers because clothes are too hard. Heat up the coconut milk, put the ramen seasonings all up in there. All the packets. Drown yourself in MSG. Throw in a handful of daiya, then pop in some red curry paste, gochujang, and nutritional yeast. Put in the noodles. Throw in a some frozen veggies, whatever you got in the freezer, and I know you do because you are a sad sloppy bitch who only buys frozen veggies because the fresh ones never make it. Garnish it with seaweed and seseme seeds like you have your life together. Eat it, still not wearing clothes. Feel the carbs and fat revive you. Drink the broth like an animal. Thank you.
