It’s brought me to tears. I can barely hear the man speak within my dreams, whispers of love and adornment, of promises and happiness. I have felt emotion other than confusion when my eyes close, but when they open, my soul aches once more. I have lost something important within the darkness of my mind and aside from the memories that have been taken, I feel as if I have been stripped of something far more dear to me. … A name has come to my mind… A memory? Karasu, I long for someone with that name and yet my chest hurts so badly. Of all things… A soft glow has come from within my ribs, the pulsing light dull and struggling to stay alive… I understand now that whatever I have lost… I made a Soul Bond with. I remember it… What I gave to this memory… I gave half of my soul and now it is gone… But why? I can’t stop hurting, no matter how hard I claw at my chest to make it stop, I can’t deny the tears that are flowing. The rage. The blood that comes from this flesh, yet I cannot reach the burning pain. Oh gods the rage. I am blind, unable to find him… My Soulsworn. My only memory… My only…
