Out of curiosity, would you mind giving an official pronunciation for Prihine's name? Most of the main characters' names are fairly straightforward, but hers in particular is hard for me- I can't tell if it's "Prin", "Pre-ini"or if it rhymes with Briony.

So I’m confused about a few things regarding Lav and Pri. Does sleeping with Pri prevent us from having a relationship with Lav. Also is Pri a full RO with an ending and everything? Sorry if it’s been asked before, I couldn’t find it in the blog

I think it depends for Prihine! She's probably on the same level as Lavinet, but a little more complicated, in that Prihine both enjoys her independent life as a "widow" now and wouldn't like to feel constantly chaperoned or smothered--her new adult life as an independent woman is quite important to her sense of identity--but she'd pretty darn miffed if MC didn't show any signs of wanting to be with her, either?? Like if she leads an independent life, and MC leads an independent life and is unfazed by this and doesn't really seem to "need" her, she wouldn't like it. If MC wanted to be with her all the time, she'd love that--she just wouldn't let them all the time, if that makes any sense! Probably more like half the time! And if MC needed to be with her all the time, she wouldn't like that very much and would feel a bit smothered, but it would still be preferable and more enjoyable to her than if MC wasn't clingy at all! Does that make sense? Basically: let her do her own thing. But make it clear that you'd be willing to accompany her to literally anything. Half the time, she'd want you to and would be pleased to have your company. All the time, she'd love the feeling of being loved!

Hi! I just finished the Ascendancy Festival with Blade. Great work as always by the way! I am looking forward to getting all the characters reaction to the play about the Shepherds. But considering that Prihine is featured in the play, how would she react if she saw the play and how she is portrayed in it? Personally, I would fear for the lives of Chandry and the actors in that situation.

Hi there, luckily, the chances of Prihine or any of her immediate peers attending a low-born public play hosted for commoners is vanishingly low... But yes, if she saw it and how she was portrayed in it, I actually think she would order a hit on Chandry/the theater troupe. At the very least the whole thing would be shut down by her solicitors 😂 Probably wouldn't bring it to court, though, because then it would give it more fame and notoriety, she would just make it quietly go away (while plotting the most unearthly revenge on the playmakers she could devise)!
