TMI Tuesday! Is there anything that could drive Fael and Dorian apart? An issue they fundamentally disagreed on, or an event that could estrange them from one another? Sorry for the angsty ask, but I know you're a glutton for angst. ;)

But honestly? Not much that I can think of? Early in their relationship maybe, if Fael would have been more ruthless in his leadership (keeping Erasthenes tranquil, killing Celene, etc; all things he very well considered doing but ultimately did not) Dorian could have ended up keeping his distance more and more. They have problems in their journey together, there are moments, after Trespasser, in which the emotional distance could have been too much. But they’re both adults willing to solve problems together, and anything that might be an obstacle they’d work to overcome. 

Cheating would be something that’d break them apart but that’s… not something I see any of them doing. Fael wouldn’t even think of it, and honestly I refuse to think about Dorian cheating on Fael while in Tevinter (or with Bull like I’ve seen in some fanfictions… why….).(I honestly just hate the cheating partner trope. I get that in real life it happens, but let me just have my cheating free fantasies, yes?)

Hello! I'm sorry ur having a bad mental health day. I figured I'd drop in and say HEY cus I still think of you whenever I see your posts on my dash, even tho we don't chat much anymore and both seemed to have moved on to other fandoms/projects for the most part haha. Here's a question, since I know you're into anime: Have you seen Yuri on Ice?

I am thinking of you as well and tbh I’m like always in awe of how you manage to create such a menagerie of characters for all your projects. It’s really an inspiration and one of the reasons I love seeing you on my dash.

I have seen Yuri on Ice more times than I would like to admit out loud. It was one of my first animes, I am a late bloomer as far as fandom goes. There was a point in time where I was rewatching every episode the day before the next one came out, so you do the math lol.

I enjoyed it a lot, but once the show was over I kinda lost interest in pursuing anything as far as fanfic goes. I still like seeing the art on my dash, and will read a fic if it’s recc’d to me. But I’m not really immersed in the fandom quite like I am gor Haikyuu and BSD.

Worldbuilding asks! How do people tell their stories and share their history in this world? How is history recorded? What does of things to they place special emphasis on in retelling history?

History is written and catalogued, but is privately held in the hands of the people who make it their occupation. The parts that are made accessible to the general public tend to be written in a very subjective manner, taking a rosy view of the mainland, prominent figures are either exalted or demonized, and certain evils are omitted or covered very briefly. For example, what people know of Lacrimore’s history tends to be more folkloric than factual.

One of the reasons Lalichai left the mainland was he was sick of feeling like he couldn’t fully access history, because of what had been written before him that he had to reference, as well as the restrictions he felt were being placed upon him on the mainland. Which is also why he takes a strong liking to Vandorus. They’re both trying to find what they believe is a truth being denied them.

I've also had the problem of missing like/reblog buttons for your posts for quite a while now. No earthly idea what could be causing it.

I don’t have Tumblr Labs enabled or anything. All the relevant social fields are checked (I just went and checked them right now—including everyone being able to reply). The only things I can possibly think of doing are (in the order that I’m willing to do them):

Get rid of Disqus (maybe it’s interfering?).

Disable my theme.

Delete Xkit (which I REALLY don’t want to do).

Any ideas? Is this an Xkit problem?
