I think you’ve read most reviews on Teen Wolf’s season 6A by now. And I bet you relized most of them aren’t that great. And for me it’s not solely the Stydia fact, even tho they’ve fucked up basically everything with that, it’s just this season in general...or better said the entire shipping aspect that’s being shoved down our throats. Not only was Stiles and Lydia’s weird ass “relationsip” forced upon our eyesight. But then they started runing Liam and Hayden’s relationship by making them the “always-making-out-in-front-of-others-at-weird-times-making-everything-even-more-awkward” but also the “wannabe-alpha-couple”. Which is so stupid, because they - apart from Morey and Scira - were the only couple I still like on this damn show. Then Chrislissa was made a very abrupt thing, I personally am not mad about it, but it was still a little fast as I had formerly only really thought of them as close friends. But, if TW tought us one thing this season it’s that love apparently happens as soon as the other person is about to get take by dead, horse riding weirdos. Now I’m a salty little anti-stalia, just like two other great people on her who you should definately follow if you’re in this club as well trolling-since-chernobyl and   sananey77. Now those two, among a lot of other lovely saltys are probably the ones you should turn to for anti-stydia EVERYTHING. I’m laughing my ass off at some of their anti posts because they’re so freaking true. Just keep on being salty, fam. Anyways, back to the shit show. Now the start of Stydia basically set of an entire shitty domino effect which ruined characters, friendships and other relationships in it’s way. Then the fact that Kira and her family were written off because there was no more room for her. Oh okay, so there’s no more room for Kira but you do have the room for like five new characters and a return for Cora and Jackson but there was no more room for Kira? What kinda bullshit is this? Just be honest for a second and tell us the real reason why Arden and Kira can’t come back. I mean, she alongside Mason and Parrish are probably the least problematic characters on this show in previous seasons. I don’t get this season at all and the ignorance of some Stydiots is continuing to infuriate me. Salty fam, please help me!

The Stydia fandom is already crying like little shits. And you know what? I’m living. That episode just showed that Lydia is in fact a strong girl... she wanted to save parrish all on her own... like... that was badass. And in season 6A she was a crying ugly mess.... all the freaking time because of Stiles. I still hate her but at least Parrish makes an okayish character out of her. Like!

so what was the Supernatural™ situation that forced lydia to bring jordan coffee? what Supernatural™ situation made her choose to ask him to teach her to fight? what about staying outside of a jail cell for hours with him? what about volunteering, with no prompting or even vague hinting, to help jordan figure out what he was? what Supernatural™ draw lead to her staying with him at the argents' even though she didn't have to by any stretch of the imagination, or chasing him down to bring him back even though she knew from the argents that she was also important to fighting the beast? none of these situations required her, supernaturally or otherwise. she simply chose to be there - and it was not all about him, which you'd know if you've been paying a single bit of attention to any of their scenes together outside of the hallucinations, which you're all significantly more obsessed with than we are, by the way. anyways, i'm just gonna need the anti marrish fandom to step their game up and come up with their own arguments that are actually logical instead of just cherry picking from the things we use to criticize ships where they have actual validity and canonical basis/supporting evidence.

Stiles could be Marrish trash?!!?!?

No okay but imagine if Stiles turned out to be the biggest Marrish shipper like what if for whatever reason he had to wake up an injured Parrish and shouts something like, “WAKE UP YOU FIREDOG LYDIA DID NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU ONLY TO HAVE YOU DIE.” And what if he does a Melissa McCall and lock them in the sheriffs office because they’ve had some kind of falling out and Stiles wants them to sort it and what if he jokingly welcomes Lydia to what he refers to as the ‘avoiding-the-law’ club because now that she’s dating a deputy she can evade parking tickets and speeding fines like Stiles does through his father. And just imagine how happy Stiles would be that Lydia has finally found someone after all this time who would look after her so well I just UGHHH.

Marrish + development

I don't know about other Marrish shippers, and I happily respect if you disagree because we're on the same side, we're Ohana, but I like the idea of Jordan and Lydia's relationship developing at a nice pace. I don't mean agonisingly slow but like, the speed it's at now is sweet and I think it's good for both of them because it's been a while since Lydia has loved someone so hard (I don't just mean Jackson, and maybe Aiden, I mean Allison as well), and Parrish is still getting used to the supernatural world and just how important his role is. It would be nice that by the time they do date, they've already well established a strong connection (which they pretty much have now). The little moments between them give me sustenance ^-^
