Some people are really out here bullying each other or hating on female characters over a run-of-the-milll shadow guy.
Sometimes I really do love the hype towards Elain that some E/riels bring but I wonder why that same energy is not extended to other females in the series.
Like why are some of them theorizing that Mor’s mate is Azriel, when she prefers females and experienced gender based violence from males? And why are some people theorizing that she’s evil to excuse why Azriel was in limerence for her for 500 years?
Why do some of them think Gwyn is boring and insignificant despite her being the first Valkyrie reborn and a Carynthian that won the Blood Rite? Don’t even get me started on the crew that thinks she’s an evil lightsinger to excuse a certain male’s actions during the SF bonus chapter.
Why are people shipping Vassa with a Fae male she’s shown no interest in, when she wants her kingdom back and her whole story is centered her desire to stay human and reject immortality.
Mor, Gwyn, and Vassa each have the potential for fantastic storylines and I’m tired of seeing bad takes that degrade or downplay them in favor of one ship.
