Commission Details and Pricing.

By definition, Flash Fiction is a piece of writing that falls between 5 and 1,500 words. I specialize in short horror or generally unsettling fiction, although I can and will write any genre upon request. I am also willing to write smut or NSFW stories upon proof that you are over the age of 18. 

 I can email you the story privately

 Send it to your Tumblr inbox (depending on the length) 

 Post it to Tumblr with your blog tagged (This option is only with the expressed consent of you, the customer. No commissioned writings will be publically shared on this blog without your permission. This option is not available for NSFW writing) 

If you have another method of receiving in mind, let me know.

Prices 

 I accept payment via PayPal and will supply my payment link when a price is agreed upon. There is a leeway gap of about 49 words where the price will not rise should the commission go over. For example, a 200-word story will not cost more than a 249-word story)

50 words or less: $5

100 to 200 words: $10

250 to 400 words: $15

450 words and up: At this point stories will be charged at a rate of $0.05 per word. Upon requesting a commission of this length you may present a desired word limit and I will calculate a price before I begin writing.

If you would like to approach me about fanfiction, please let me know because I have a separate Tumblr account where I do that for free.  I reserve the right to reject any commissions for any reason, be it professional, personal, or moral. I am a full-time university student, and thus I do not have unlimited time to prioritize writing, I appreciate your understanding.

Have you considered publishing These Violent Delights? I don't know how much of it you might have to change to avoid copyright with BBC, but it's so much better than Hound of D'Uberville. 50 Shades of Gray was a Twilight fanfiction before editing for copyright, and you're obviously better than that.

Nnnnot really? Considered it, I mean, I am fucking better than 50 Shades, almost everyone is.

But the thing is that the whole thing is tied so closely to Andrew Scott’s Moriarty that taking that away (and you would have to take that away, because that specific version is part of BBC canon) would leave - well, I don’t know, actually, because I can’t imagine it without him.

(I have considered writing a thing for a Holmes anthology at one point and I do have some general ideas about a classic-canon-from-Moriarty’s-POV thing, but I doubt that’ll ever come to anything).

Also I like that it’s fucking free and everyone who wants to can read it, so there.

My dearest friends,

As the winter draws on, and I continue to write to ease the torment of the dreary days, I am writing to inform you that my letterbox is now open to any person who might be inclined to request a piece of flash fiction from me. 

For clarification, “flash fiction” is simply a piece of writing that is shorter than a short story, but is not a poem. It may be a few simple sentences or a few paragraphs long. You may be inclined to search “Flash Fiction” on my blog, and a few samples should appear. 

I do intend to charge for these writings, and I simply ask that with your request you supply some form of inspiration on which I may form a base. This can be in the form of a vague story idea you have, a picture(s), a quote or line of dialogue, a social media post, or some other form of inspiration. 

As is the theme of my blog I do specialize in Gothic Horror, though I am not afraid to attempt other genres. 

I can be reached via my letterbox, or direct message if you prefer and I will link a commission post with prices and details below. 

It is my most ardent wish that we all shall see the spring return.

For the last time, not including representation of a certain group or mishandling a character who belongs to a minority isn’t the same thing as hating that group. Marvel doesn’t hate LGBTQ+ people because it hasn’t mentioned characters’ identities in the movies. Voltron doesn’t hate LGBTQ+ people because an LGBTQ+ character got killed off. Are they questionable decisions that might reflect some ignorance on the part of the writers? Potentially. I don’t really know for sure. But saying they hate LGBTQ+ people is misleading and spreads the belief that nothing but perfect representation is accepted, discouraging creators from including representation at all.

Reminder that content creators do not owe anything to their fans, especially if they make free content. Fan suggestions are fine, fan demands are not.
