I have read Gideon the Ninth and I did enjoy it. However, it had been a while since that when I tried to read Harrow the Ninth and immediately got so confused that I gave up about 20 pages in, lol. They're fun books, but you really need all your brainpower to figure out what the actual fuck is going on, and apparently that was not that time. However, it is currently quite popular on my dash (especially for a book series without, as yet, a TV adaptation, so yes).

I may give it a try again, though there are currently so many books on my nightstand that I genuinely fear I have lost control of my life. And this is not even counting the four MORE very long books that are likewise set to arrive this week.
