I think about all JK Rowling's terfery and it makes me simultaneously sad and relieved that Alan Rickman died back in 2016.

Sad because a huge chunk of Rickman’s legacy is forever tainted by another person’s willful ignorance and bigotry. Yet relieved that he passed away before Rowling could out herself as a hateful bitch, watch her take the franchise that gave him his most famous role down into the muck with her and be forced to deal with her bullshit like so many others involved in the films.
