Tumblr, maybe you can help me out?

I love to read, but fanfiction seems to be the only place I can find action/adventure themed works with gay characters. Specifically, works that don’t entirely revolve around steamy romances or blatant dick swinging. If that’s your thing, no big! I like that in fanfiction quite a bit.

But if anyone can suggest to me some fiction (non fanfic) with a gay/bi/pan male character and some nice action/adventure, I’d seriously appreciate it.

I have so many things to tell you. It’s been a painful time to be away from my laptop and not write anything at all. 

Just got the function of my hands back. The first thing I do is come here, type this and tell you all inspiring folks that

This is the second time in a week I’ve seen people on my dash having the “gay people have always existed” vs. the “but gay identity is NOT a trans-historical phenomenon” argument, and I’m resisting the urge to become involved this time...barely.

Peruse the 00Q written and cowritten by Bootsnblossoms and Kryptaria; in particular, Ordinary Numbers, Red Queen to Overwatch, and Old Gods, New Tricks. Oh, just read them all, they’re all great, and they vary so there’s something for everyone. They both also did solo stuff and stuff with others. I also enjoyed the 00Qs that Professorfangirl wrote. 

There are loads others no doubt, but I didn’t read all that extensively, I mostly just read whatever Boots did, lol. @bootsnblossoms, you have any other recs from the Skyfall heyday to get a noob started?

Y’know, if I get the job I interviewed for, I’m thinking of doing something for that week, assuming my new place of employment is closed that week (the uni I work at right now is). My family live on the Gulf Coast, so I can crash free if I can just get there. Where are you going?

agreed, though I powered through the end. The last couple of pages about art was pretty good.

“Unofficial” word is that they’re airing it at SDCC... but they did that with the best man footage too, and kept it an SDCC exclusive, so it’s anyone’s guess. Although this is also about the time when the S3 trailer aired two years ago (that was August... because I saw it in a Korean grocery store in California while visiting in-laws... ;)
