Fort Detrick conspiracy theory

Fort Detrick is a base where we study and manufacture bio-weapons. We scooped up a bunch of Nazi scientists with Project Paperclip and parked them there after the war. The Nazi scientists (Walter Schreiber, Erich Traub and Kurt Blome) we sent there are all renown for their studies in biological warfare. We've used this base to do biological warfare, most famously in the Korean war.

They were also integral in MKUltra and the CIA's attempt to master brainwashing and mind control. Fort Detrick also played an integral role in the 2001 Anthrax attacks. Basically, Fort Detrick is ground zero for a lot of bad shit regarding American empire.

Anyway, in May of 2019, Fort Detrick had a "leak". Whether or not this breach was deliberate or accidental... I don't know. In June 2019, there was a spate of unexplained "flu deaths" and "vaping deaths". This was capitalized on by the federal government to raise the age of smoking to 21 and ban vapes. These “vaping” related injuries mysteriously have all the same symptoms as COVID. And of course, after a massive spike in interest, this supposed epidemic immediately fell off the radar.

In July, the US CDC chief in China was fired by trump. Whether this was a part of the "plan" or just good old fashioned incompetence... I don't know but it is important to later developments.

In October, there was a military war game in Wuhan featuring soldiers who were stationed in... you guessed it, Fort Detrick. The CIA, despite having their Intel community absolutely gutted in 2017 and the US CDC chief being fired in July reports corona virus deaths in November (a full month before the Chinese government does).

It's also important to remember outside of China, the first 2 coronavirus epicenters are both next to us military bases. Specifically, Camp Henry in south Korea and Longare US Army base in Italy

If I were being extremely generous, I would say that the CIA knew that there was a possible infection, knew what to look for, and were aggressively monitoring the situation. If I were being honest, I'd say the CIA and US government orchestrated a biological attack on the Chinese using Operation Whitecoat tactics.

I know someone from a paperclip family--we'll call him Fin. If you dont know, project paperclip was the CIA run program to grant USA citizenship to Nazis and fascists to "fight communism". They gave them new names and placed them in positions within government agencies. It ran for 20-30 years.

Fin talks about the lessons his grandfather taught him. Lessons about fascist radicalization, dangers of religious dogma, and the importance of paying attention and finding the truth.

Fin idolized his grandfather as a kid. He was one of the few sources of love and stability in his life. His grandfather was also a Nazi in WWII. Fin didn't know (or didn't know much) about this until his grandfather took him on a long walk before his death and told him about his life in Germany, project paperclip, and the Nazi goal to overthrow the USA government. It was one of the last times Fin saw his grandfather. Fin was disgusted by him when he found out. But his grandfather left him his books and his knowledge. Because Fin was the only grandkid (of like 20) who bonded with him and listened.

Fin is a deeply curious person, even when he was a kid and teenager. His grandfather encouraged this curiosity throughout his life. Fin still models part of himself after the man and the lessons he taught him--he keeps alive the parts of his grandfather he loved. The parts that were critical of society, critical of dogma. The parts that searched for truth. (And his love for nice hats--his grandfather always wore Panama hats and fedoras.)

Fin's grandfather learned the lessons he taught Fin the hard way. He learned them by being taken in by rhetoric and the promise of a better life. Germany was very poor after WWI. Germans were seen as lesser-than, embarrassments. Their society had become a capitalist hellscape similar to modern USA--high cost of living, overwork, unaffordable food, property and extreme wealth hoarded by the few.

Fin's grandfather told him about the writing on the wall for the rise of fascism in the USA. He started telling him about the signs when Fin was old enough to listen. He encouraged Fin to ask questions as soon as he could speak.

Fin's grandfather was a complicated man. One with many sides to him. A man with a truly dark history. A history, it seems, he didn't want to see repeated.

Fin doesn't know what role his grandfather played in the german military or the role he played for the USA after he came here in 1946. And maybe it's best not to know.

Many people from paperclip families don't know they're from paperclip families. And those that do know are encouraged not to talk about it. Fin does talk about it, though. Because it is part of our history and integral to how the USA became the country it is now.

Over 400,000 people were given citizenship through project paperclip. That 400,000 number comes from a paperclip program that only operated for about 4 years around the 80s, by the way. Paperclip itself operated for about 20-30 years. How many cities' worth of nazis and fascists did we bring over here in the name of "fighting communism"?

There may not be a lesson in this story. Maybe we can take away that we need to be critical of our society and learn to see rhetoric and propaganda. Maybe what we can take away is the fact that when you let Nazis into a country, it becomes a Nazi country.
