"...what pose were you doing in the picture?" was a very normal question you asked to your boyfriend, rui.
rui, who was busy looking over a script for their troupes' next show, stared at you in confusion.
"what pose are we talking about?" he entertains this after staring at you for a while. he watched as you replicated an exaggerated flying kiss.
the action, although goofy, made his heart beat wildly against his chest. "hm, are we playing charades?"
your eyebrows scrunched, pouting in his direction. "well it's all your fault then! it looked confusing...like what were you even doing?"
"were you trying to give a camera a kiss, or ask the audience if they wanted to take ibuprofen together?" the absurdity of your question made rui sputter out a laugh.
the sound of his laugh resonated in your being and you couldn't help the grin decorating your lips.
"since my biggest fan is confused, why don't i show it to them?"
after that smug statement, a pillow was promptly thrown in rui's direction.

Today was kaito's birthday, and since it was his birthday, you did everything in your will to make it special, ofcourse making a special birthday party would make it hard, not to mention expensive but you had to try!! It was his birthday after all and it didnt hurt to try right?
You first started the day by buying him ice cream, you hid it in the fridge so that when he gets in your shared apartment, you'll surprise him with that! Next you brought some small cake, the big one was too expensive, surely the small one will do..
You then decorated the apartment, just some small balloons here and there, since it was his birthday, ofcourse you were going to invite his friends, they too had to come! So you went online and started searching on what to cook, foods that would suit everybody, after an hour or so you started cooking, there were going to be 7 of them, plus you so that would mean you had to make food suited for 8 people! You didnt try anything like this since you came from a small family, but itd be worth a shot!
Ofcourse, you did some things that arent related to his birthday such as, taking care of plants, going to the mall, and going to your job, ofcourse when you got home you were a tad bit late, so you put on your apron and started cooking, you placed your phone onto a phone stand and watched their live, since it was his birthday, ofcourse theyre gonna put on a show, why wouldnt they?
After finishing preparing everything you texted kaito to be home as quick as he can, he still didnt see the message but he will, he never leaves you on sent, after a minute he sees your message, and goes offline, thats it? Does that mean theyre coming home? 8pm still not home, 8:45pm still not home, 9pm still not home, you started doubting, the food had gone cold, you placed the ice cream back into the fridge to avoid it melting, maybe he and his bandmates went out and ate out? But he wouldve texted you if they did.. maybe he forgot? It was almost 10 and you started placing the cake back to the fridge to avoid flies, then the door opened, and there it was kaito and his bandmates!
You quickly placed the cake in the fridge and helped them get inside. "Sorry for not replying, i was about to but my phone died..." Kaito, apologizes, you shook your head and assured him that it was all okay, rin, the band's keyboardist interrupts. "Oh wow! You cooked all this [Y/N]! Careful, lens gonna eat it all~!" She teased, taking a seat "i dont even eat that much! Unlike you!" Len, the bands guitarist argues back, Meiko, sits beside the two teens, giving them a glare "calm down you two.. " she says sternly, the two didnt calm down so they had to sit separately, Meiko, Rin, Luka on the right side, you, Miku, and Rin on the left, ofcourse Kaito would be at the center since this party was dedicated to him!
You all began to eat and drink, except the twins ofcourse, staying up all night to have fun, singing karaoke, and playing video games, you watched, Miku and Luka admiring rin and len's skill on playing video games, while Meiko lays down, too drunk to know whats happening,she rests her head on Rins lap "Stop moving Meiko! Im gonna lose!!" She whines, Len snickers "keep wiggling Meiko!" He teases, you watched them all, being happy that they enjoyed the small party you threw, after some minutes Meiko finally woke up and had an idea. "Guys! Lets sing kaito a... A happy birthday~!" She says with a song-sing voice, wrapping her arm around your shoulder, you nod and helped Meiko sit back down.
After singing kaito a happy birthday, you pulled out your small cake from the fridge "sorry if the cakes to small.. the big ones were expensive.." you added, looking a bit guilty, Kaito shook his head and gave you a reassuring smile "no,no.. dont be, im grateful for whatever you give me.." he smiles "Stop talking and blow out the candle!!" Rin exclaims, Kaito then blew out his candles, chuckling a bit "aha.. im starting to feel old.." he chuckles, Miku shook her head "26 is not that old.! I think.." she replied, Luka nodded in agreement.
After the party ended, the rest of the bandmates were gonna head home, they all had given their gifts back at the concert but you still hadnt given your gift yet.. "you sure you dont want me to drive you home..?" You ask, Luka shook her head "no, no.. me and Meiko live pretty close, rin, miku, and len also live ina dormitory thats just a 30 minute drive from my place.. its almost 12 so you should get rest, you did throw as a party.." she replied, You knew you could trust her, she only took small drink, maybe like one can, unlike Meiko..
You both helped eachother clean up, it wasnt that messy but still needed some retouches "you dont have to help me clean Kai, its your birthday" you say to him, he shook his head "no, i should help.. you threw me this party.. its the least i could do.." he says, while wiping the plates, watching you sweep, after finishing, you wanted to announce something.
"Happy birthday Kai.. oh! Here i brought you a present! Close your eyes..!" You giggle, Kaito smiles and nodded, closing his eyes "on a count to three open em okay? 1... 2... 3... Open!" As Kaito opens his eyes, he had an appreciated look on his face. "A crocheted plushie.. of ice cream..?" He remarks.. was your gift that bad..? Is it not that good? "Y-yeah! Took me a week.. do you .. like it...?" You ask, kaito smiles at you and gave you a hug "i love it.. i'll cherish it as long as i live" he added, the hug soon broke "this is the best birthday gift i could ask for.. thank you.." he smiles at you, showering you with compliments, you blush slightly at his words "awee..! Dont have to! Just doing something a good person would do!" The clock soon hits 12, Kaito's birthday had come to an end.
"Although.. there is something that i did want.." he blushed, looking away "oh! What is it then..? Im sure i can buy it for you next year!" You replied, kaito looks at you then, clears hos throat "is it too late for a birthday kiss..?" He asks.
You blush, and chuckles a bit, kissing his cheek, just as you were about to pull away, he grabs your waist and kisses you on the lips.. "i-im sorry.." he said, blushing madly while looking down, you chuckle and smiled at him "no,no.. im glad you kissed me.."He smiles at your response, hugging you, nuzzling his face to your neck, "oh.. well.. im glad you liked it.. though.. would you still be glad if i.. did more than kissing?"

a/n : first event request, thank you! i'm honored to write a fic for you, because you were one of the authors that gave me motivation to write again after god knows how long. well anyway, onto the fic! hopefully, this was done justice.
after the curtains closed, most of the audience left after watching wonderlands x showtime's last show for the night. you loitered to walk home back home with rui.
"oya? if it isn't y/n."
you could hear his chesire-like grin, turning around to see rui.
"rui, that show was magnificent; great job again."
"heh, thank you." rui chuckled. "to be honest, we went through an issue backstage."
"again? last time, emu got a nosebleed due to one of the props. thankfully i was there and it wasn't her turn on stage yet." you recollected, taking a sigh. "what happened this time?"
the curve of rui's lips drooped, "tsukasa almost got knocked out, again." rui sat down on the bench behind him, clasping his hands and putting his elbows on his knees. "...it's because of me."
you couldn't help but pity rui. you looked at his averted golden eyes that held guilt. you knew that this had happened previously.
"...rui, it's not your fault. we make mistakes."
"but, we can't afford to make mistakes anymore."
"you have a point."
it seemed pointless. you really didn't want to pick a fight with rui, but you thought that he didn't have to blame himself for it. the more this goes on, the more he decides to keep his creative ideas of his inside, worsening the product of the shows.
"i'll be honest with you," you announce out the blue, getting rui's attention. "don't push yourself back due to minor setbacks. that's what's going to fail the next upcoming shows."
"y/n, you don't understand," rui got up from the bench, narrowing his eyes. "if i execute my dangerous ideas, the troupe will only get further injured-"
"rui." you cut him off, with a stern tone. "this is stupid for us to start fighting over. so, i'll leave for now. we can talk tomorrow." you turn around, feeling bitter about your decision. however, it was for the best.
all of a sudden, someone's hand grabbed your wrist almost instinctively. you turn your head immediately, focusing on rui.
"wait, don't go, please..." rui muttered quietly, his eyebrows creased. "...let's talk a little longer. the sun hasn't set yet."
meeting his golden eyes, you helplessly smiled, nodding your head. "mm, let's."
afterwards, you convinced rui to do what he loves most-- which is creating eccentric ideas thanks to his imagination. anybody should be allowed to do what they want, as long as they like what they're doing.
"thank you, y/n." rui smiled, holding your hand.
"thank you first. my actions earlier were short-tempered." you laughed sheepishly, a bit embarassed. you couldn't lie, you couldn't understand why you did that in the first place.
