Hey so maybe I'm insane -

It's my understanding from the data points that everyone speaks the same language (English) because when Apollo was purged, Zero Dawn reverted to it's default langauge. Okay, cool. So that means the kids in the cradle facility never learned to read or write. However Carja history says that Araman found a textbook from the Old Ones about the sun, which he used to later found Meridian.

If Apollo was purged then he couldn't have read it. Unless the servitors were programmed to teach rudimentary reading skills? But if that's the case, then how did they evolve from the English alphabet to Carja glyphs? Unless the Carja glyphs are just the new term for the alphabet. Which would make sense, seeing how Aloy learned to read by using her focus and she can apparently read data points labeled as Carja glyphs.

So the Nora, Banuk, Tenakth, and Utaru all have an oral tradition and no written language. The Oseram seem to have adapted Carja glyphs for their own use, unless they have their own and I missed it somehow?

The Quen can also read English/Carja glyphs as well, but I wonder how much data they're unable to decipher because they can't read kanji. The Great Delta if I understand it correctly is in reference to China (that and the abundance of jade accessories the Quen seem to be fond of)

This got rambley sorry, but am I missing something here about the glyphs??
