The journey so far...
So after a lot of thought i have decided to post a picture and attempt to run a tumblr and instagram account or at least give it a go. In 2015 everything and anything seamed to go wrong or it least that’s how it felt, my training became irregular and my eating habits got out of control so by the end of 2015 i weighed in at just over 103kg!!. This was completely unacceptable and i knew i needed to do something about it, so in January 2016 i contacted Matt at Apex fitness systems to arrange a nutrition plan. Over the next 12 months i had bi weekly weigh ins with Matt and we went over my nutrition plan. Slowly but surely with a lot of hard graft my weight began to drop and by December 2016 i weighed in at 76kg. Over the Christmas period i did put on a few kilos which probably could of been avoided but after such a long time of missing out i slightly over indulged but now in 2017 i am back on it and looking to see what i can achieve this year with overall fitness and diet. My next aim over the following 8 weeks or so is to get down to maybe 73-74kg and see how i feel with the aim then of putting back on some lean muscle while keeping body fat low.
Hopefully i can keep up with posting things that people may or may not be interested in..this log/blog will be in my own words and done my way so there may be the odd..shit..fuck or some other colorful language but it will be a no bullshit version of ME!!!

🕭I’m up I’m up.😩 Shattered this morning, but I’m up, dressed and almost ready to go. 💪
While editing some videos from this mornings Crossfit I caught this frame and couldnt believe how much my back has changed. This is unposed and not tensed, but it’s still really different from when I first started. I just wish I had an old pic to compare it too so you could see.

This mornings crossfit was fueled by TNT pre workout. First time using this particular one so I mixed 1 x 10ml scoop with 200mls of water 30 minutes before training.
Within 10/15minutes I felt the effects, tingling from the beta alanine and a general feeling of alertness.
During the warm up I definitely felt more energised and didn’t feel as fatigued after the run, squats or burpees.
The wod this morning was a long one and I felt this was a good test for the pre-workouts longevity.
20 minutes in the the wod my heart rate was very high and at this point I didn’t feel well and did need a brief sit down.
This could be down to my own tolerance of the ingredients, so for my next test I will try half a scoop in the same time frame and see if the effects are reduced.
Once I have experimented further I will post my full overview and my final thoughts.

Today I thought I would try something new the John West light lunch pots.
I’m always looking for quick and easy food for work or for when I’m just being plain lazy, these definitely fit the bill.
Only 200 cals on its own so I added salad and avacado which brings it to 318 cals 21p 14f 27c.
Really tasty and will definitely buy more.
