A man of thirty-eight. It is said he ate the rotten brains of Nachzehrer and gained its ancient wisdom. Lost an eye and a leg to the Cendrien prince Cosme in battle. Avenged by Sankt Lukas.
sankt annelies ;
Rising to prominence after slaying a vicious Ondine plaguing her village, she was taken in by the Church. It was rumored she coveted the position of the Helemar and was sent to the Cendrien frontier, where she died a martyr.
sankt margareta ;
A woman of sixty-seven. She seems to sense disaster before it strikes and can spare any babe from the shroud. In her lifetime, she has confirmed the miraculous rebirth of two incarnations of the Helemar.
sankt walborg ;
Another principal military saint of the capital city Niederbrinn and one of the Nine River Saints. Routed the immense forces of the heretical son of the old King of Falkenmoor.
sankt sigivald ;
A boy of fifteen. The six-fingered saint who was found washed up on the shores of the river Mondstrahl. Consuming his hair and nail clippings is said to bring longevity. Known as Sigi to those who attend him.
