He had sacks!
I noticed about Sherlock that he always tries to keep his promises and is obsessive about keeping them (only times he doesnt keep them when external factors make it impossible like Mary getting shot by Vivian not his fault)
He only makes promises when he can really keep them. Like on the plane when Mycroft asks him to stay clean he doesnt promise it. He only promises when he 100% intends to keep that promise. He knows he cant 100% stay clean, as an addict you can never really do that promise because relapses can happen. I love that about him. He takes promises literal (is that an autism thing?) I take promises also very literal, if i promise something i keep it, and i only make promises that im able to keep, because the word promise really means something to me. Its like a bound contract.
To so many people its just an empty phrase, a lie. So many people made "promises" to me just to do the exact opposite, lying to me. I hate that so much. So many people are just manipulative liars. Promises mean nothing to them except a tool to manipulate and abuse.
i like that in the two shots of kirk he looks absolutely befuddled and is also wearing capital L Little Outfits

You ever found yourself saying "I swear" once in a while? Well, buddy, the Word of God has something tonsay about that. Remember Jesus' Sermon on the Mountain? Well, He Himself was telling the Israelites how they heard it being said to them not to commit perjury, but to keep their oaths to God. What did He say about that? He said we shouldn't swear at all and by anything. This is the best way to avoid breaking oaths - not making them in the first place. For by whatever and whomever we swear, they are our witnesses if we break our oath. Our answers should be "Yes, yes" or "No, no", otherwise we fall into hypocrisy (James 5:12), and we know that such temptations come from nobody else but the evil one (Matthew 5:37). Let us therefore not make an oath we will regret later and watch our mouths. You'll thank Jesus later for this lesson. God bless you in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour! Amen.
