The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace/平穏世代の韋駄天達 - Review

Don't trust the title, this anime is fucked up!

Idaten was a surprise, at first I doubt watching it since the animation looked like if it was a kid show until I learned that it was not. Though there are some things I found morally wrong and I wish they cut that out (like demons reproducing with literal children from their species), if you put that out since it wasn't even that relevant or see it as a way to show how fucked up demons are and why they must be exterminated. Idaten was great, with really good main characters and freaking strong, the story seems a bit pointless at first since the Idaten are undestroyable but the twist it got was amazing. The animation was unique and great, it suit the story, and I loved the opening.

I'll definetly look forward to the next season, and if you don't mind explicit or strong content on anime you should check it out. Final score: 8/10
