Ok. I was reading through Tumblr and found a kind of cool/sad Scandalshipping tomb finding headcannon thing and I got me thinking. When Mahad died and sealed himself as the dark magician he never received a proper burial. What if years later Yuugi somehow came to this realization and went to the Ishtar to ask a favor. Take him to the place where the millennium puzzle had been entombed. When he gets there he uses his memory to get to the chamber that held the wall with Atem's name engraved upon it. It is there that Yuugi says a small prayer the under that engraving Yuugi leaves a well worn, well cared for, card. His first Dark Magician. Then before him rises the being he knew so we'll. He bows a little and then transforms into the priest he had once been. Then Atem appears, smiles at Yuugi, the takes his friend by the hand and they leave for the afterlife. When I was imagining this I got so many feels~ I hope you like this...

So today at work Courtney, @captainswiggityswootybooty found a dead bird on the sidewalk by our exit door. We didn’t want a little kid to see it and I could not just throw it in the trash so I picked it up and we walked over to the bushes and I laid him under the bushes out of sight and even though it wasn’t a proper burial it worked. We then put our hands over our hearts and hummed the taps music a we slowly walked backwords. Everyone deserves a proper burial. Especially sweet little birds who hit in the palm of your hand. It was so soft too.
