Vote YES on Prop 3 this Tuesday, November 8th!
The women of Michigan are counting on your vote.
When you're home state puts in the right for abortion into the state constitution so now you can breath a little easier.
But you also know that this could change at any moment because they did overturn Roe vs Wade so they can overturn this as well...
Explaining Proposal 3 - Tudor Dixon’s Anti Abortion law in Michigan.
Tudor Dixon was going to ban Abortion. The reason why we voted against her, because she wanted to ban abortion “regardless of rape or incest.” We voted Yes against the abortion ban not because we wanted to kill babies, because there are certain women out there who can’t have a child in their uterus. Let’s say for example. My cousin was having sexual encounters with another one of my cousin and got her pregnant. Why would anyone want to bring an inbred baby in this world? It’s disgusting.
A women gets raped. She could be under age. It could have been someone in her family that did it. She gets pregnant carrying the rapists baby. Keep in mind this women could be under age to be carrying a baby in their womb. Right? They could probably die from pregnancy.
Abortion doesn’t mean stop unplanned child hoods. You can still get pregnant and not have plans to have a child.
We voted for abortion for the women who physically can’t have kids and simply because of Tudor Dixon’s no exception policy.
One more thing why abortion was voted for, because it’s not up to the government to decide what a women does with her own body. Just like republicans will say it’s not the government’s choice to make you wear a mask, or get vaccinated. Two can play game, people! If you are pro choice against vaccines and mask mandates, then women are pro choice for child abortion as well!
ATTN: Tumblr. Rape and Incest were mentioned to talk about the roe v wade problem. Please don’t flag this!
Yo Michigan Voters
This November there is a really cool proposal on the Michigan ballot called Proposal 3 or #PromoteTheVote. Right now, you must be registered at least 30 Days before an election in order to vote in Michigan. That’s wild. For people who don’t have easy access to transportation, people who work multiple jobs, people in military families who move around that 30 day limit can be a HUGE burden. Count in the people who are just forgetful and miss the cutoff and that’s a lot of eligible voters every election who miss out on having their voice heard.
Prop. 3 would allow voters to register through mail up until 15 days prior to the election AND *drumroll please* WOULD ALLOW IN-PERSON REGISTERTATION THROUGH ELECTION DAY!!! If that’s not cool enough, Prop. 3 would allow anyone to vote through absentee ballot. People who work multiple jobs or work jobs that don’t get off for Election Day could vote! People who get anxious being in the crowds of people on Election Day could vote! People who couldn’t get to the polls because of a long travel distance could vote! THAT’S SO MANY PEOPLE WHO WOULD NOW BE ABLE TO VOTE OR VOTE MORE EASILY!!! Exciting stuff, right??
Cherry on top?? People could be automatically registered to vote when they interact with the Secretary of State for a different reason! Renewing your driver’s license? You can be registered to vote too! Getting your state ID? You’re a registered voter now too!!
Why would we not make voter registration and voting as accessible and easy as possible???? I don’t know either. Voting “Yes” on Prop. 3 would get Michigan there.
TLDR: Voting YES on Prop. 3 makes voting & voter registration so much easier.
On June 24th, 2022, I was on the train heading to downtown Chicago with my Dad. We were both going to our first ever Dead & Company concert. But on June 24th, 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Women of all ages were on that train, already gripping protest signs, ready to fight for their rights. I remember being unable to comprehend what this truly meant for women, but I knew the future was dark. Looking back, my memories of that train ride are surreal. Train hurtling through the outskirts of Chicago, protestors patiently waiting at the doors to flood the streets. Sadly, it was real life. The U.S. Supreme Court stripped reproductive rights away. It was official.
However, during the concert, Dead & Company displayed images supporting women's rights and abortion access on the big screens, and it planted a seed of hope within me that night. I mean, to be at a Dead & Co. concert is one thing, but to be at a Dead & Co. concert while also supporting reproductive freedom?! That is awesome!
Anyway, I am writing this today because it looks like Proposal 3, which guarantees reproductive freedom in the state of Michigan, is on track to be added to the state constitution. However, the votes are currently 55% yes and 45% no...this goes to show that every vote, every voice, every person matters in this debate! Share your opinion! Participate in the democracy that we have the privilege to live in! I am not usually one to share my opinion online, I never saw the point. But, the severity of the implications of the issue at hand and this community on Tumblr has encouraged me to take part and to take action, and I hope you do, too!

This is going to piss off every republican on here.
Since they like to piss Dems off, two can play that game.
I support Abortion and Womens Rights
And equal rights for LGBTQIA+ Community.
Black Lives Matter. All Lives Matter is a protest to another protest. Cops are killed unlawfully, and there’s never a protest about it.
US Presidents cant control the prices of Gas, and cant blame the president for inflation.
January 6th was a real insurrection caused by Republicans when Trump purposely told them on live TV to go to the capital, even though he didn’t tell them to riot, but he still told them to go there.
We don’t want your guns! You’re in a cult, owning a weapon and voting republicans doesn’t make you a true patriot. Showing love and respect for America does. If you cared so much about our country, you would also do something about the cause of global warming, and support clean energy.
The election wasn’t stolen! It was fair fight against Trump and Biden. There is no evidence in voter fraud in the last presidential election. You still dwell on Trumps defeat if you are referring him as a president after two years of not being in the White House.
Let’s go!
It's party time, baby!
