Even I am with the soil that cradles my roots entrenched,
I long desire the light so much that I forgot I still walk with my feet on.

The word prosaic refers to something ordinary, dull, or lacking imagination. 📄😐
It’s often used to describe everyday routines, tasks, or ideas that feel uninspired. But here’s the twist: even the prosaic can hold hidden beauty if we look closely. 🌿💡
A quiet morning coffee, a simple walk, or the rhythm of daily life may seem mundane—but they can become moments of reflection, creativity, and gratitude.
Life isn’t always grand; sometimes it’s the prosaic that teaches us to appreciate the small wonders around us. 🌸☕

A derelict country house with original furnishing still in; apparently it was inhabited until august 1999.
can you wax prosaic or just poetic... asking for a friend...
To be at service is to see the world we walk with the same feet, breathe the same air for we all struggle with the empty side of ourselves, bathe on the same sunlight, and fascinate ourselves with the same greed for living and sanity.
Service might act as some form of constraint, but, at the same time, it frees us. It also serves our own needs and wants... But before that, be sure of how you want to serve others before trying to touch their lives using your own abilities to give and to serve, and to gain the fruits of your efforts.
Be sure of what you want and what you need with Life.

of queer friendships - Hritvika Lakhera
My best friend and I are not lovers/ are not not lovers;/ I seldom say it so plainly. See –/ I am a particular brand of a logical poet. I fell in love/ with categories. In my mind are cabinets and endless files. See –/ I understand the impulse to put a name to everything –/ save this.
My first lover wanted to marry me. I wanted to want it too. One night,/ we stared out through the window and she said, “I can see it clearly now –/ I want us to grow old together and sit like this/ beside each other and watch the outside from/ our rocking chairs –/ and I would be scared no more with you beside.” I laughed. I cracked a joke about/ some earlier happenstance. I was terrified./ “Forever” was the elephant in the dimly-lit corridor./ “Forever” hid beneath my bed and grabbed my leg at night if I got too comfortable.
I cannot be forever./ I hope to cease./ I hope to be somebody new/ every week./ We could be anything –/ don’t you see? –/ anything; anything at all,/ and then something more/ come next week./ My best friend and I –/ we are infinite;/ two orbits intertwined –/ bound to each –/ and each:/ boundless./ When I cease to be/ I bid my lovers goodbye/ and to my dearest friend I say,/ “I am being unmade but/ I will see you again/ the coming week”/ and meet her for the first time – again./ We aren’t lovers, but more –/ we are a weekly wednesday –/ boundless, infinite;/ at home.]
Needlessly philosophical airport security questionnaire.
Idk
Something like this:
“Is your flight for business or leisure purposes?”
“Have you flown with this airline before?”
“When was the last time you renewed your passport?”
“Have you ever been placed on a watch list by any law enforcement, security or intelligence agencies.”
“Do you know who you are?”
“Are you who you say you are?”
“Are you lying to us?”
“Have you lied to us?”
“WILL you lie to us?”
“WHEN will you lie to us?”
“WHY will you lie to us?”
“Why DID you lie to us?”
“Are you a liar?”
“Were you a liar?”
“Why are you a liar?”
“Are you a good man?”
“Are you carrying any potentially hazardous materials or goods?”
“Does the sum of your lived experience outshine that of the lowest downtrodden beggar?”
“Have you ever felt a desire to flee?”
“What is your existence?”
“Do you claim to know more than you actually do? Are you aware of that which you don’t?”
“Have you been barred from visiting any particular countries or locations at any point between the past ten years and today?”
“Are you aware of why you are currently being questioned?”
“Are you aware?”
“Are you?”
“Is anything mankind ever says or does truly unnatural in any way?”
“How often do you fly or otherwise travel abroad on a regular basis?”
“Do you accept this impermanence?”
“Were you ever marked as being a potential flight risk at any point in the past or before now?”
“Have you engaged in any forms of smuggling, trafficking or fraud?”
“Are you or have you been affiliated with any known extremist or terrorist groups?”
“Have you ever now or at any other point felt a vague sense of ennui accompanied by a feeling of indescribable yearning for a past that is no longer, accompanied by a sensation of melancholic unfulfillable longing?”
“Have you ever recognised your own capacity for great evil, but also for good? If not either?”
“Have you ever made this face >:{?”
“Do you have any disabilities, allergies, disorders or health conditions?”
“Have you ever felt a desire to renounce the wider world and live a life away from society as a wild man or a hermit?”
“Do you understand the difference between the known truth, the ecstatic truth, and the subjective truth?”
“Why do we die?”
“Are you subscribed to any frequent-flyer packages?”
“How many times would you say a man dies? And when is he truly, finally dead?”
“What is the present?”
“Do you have any dual citizenship?”
“Have you been to this airport before or not?”
“Do you know that you are real?”
“Have you ever been questioned at an airport before now?”
“What was the last airline you flew with?”
“Could there ever be anything greater or lesser than this?”
“How many forms of ID do you have on you?”
“Are you scheduled for any vaccinations or other medical appointments now or at any point in the next month?”
“Do you require an interpreter or translator of any kind?”
“Can we only be defined by our mistakes even if we commit ourselves to a lifetime of righteous deeds and service?”
Idk.
It sounds funny to me at least.
